Got it from amiami as well, nice.
all hope is not lost...
Could someone show me how it looks this prime together with the WJ blackout? Are they scale with each other?
Nope, Prime is too big
Unfortunately, I don't have the BA prime, but I do have Blackout. The BA prime is 29 cm, which matches almost 1 to 1 with the movies height, which is 28 feet. My Blackout, when his legs are bent slightly, is around 29 cm at the top of the head, and around 33cm when counting for his engine thing on his back. I could be wrong, But I'm pretty sure Movie Blackout was around 33 feet tall, and his engine reached up to 35 feet. So, Blackout is a bit smaller than he should be, but if you're okay with him and prime being around the same height at the head you should be okay. Keep in mind, a lot of the heights of the robots in the movies changed and fluctuated, so there technically isn't a completely definitive scale for each movie.
I blame the Leader class toys nowadays being basically dwarves these days that the OS ones just fundamentally return them back to their supposed heights in the ROTF era though.
As for MPM Prime, sure he might be too small compared to the carbots, but I wouldn't like him any bigger to play as (I'm tolerating BA Thunder just because how good-looking he is, broken fenders & smokestack aside), neither I'd like the carbots to be any smaller.
MPM Prime is perfect, ROTF Leader sized as he is.
Blackout is 33 feet at the top of his rotor, and 29 at the top of his head, according to the scale chart.
But since the scale is basically: convert feet to cm, and add 1cm, like MPM Bumblebee, Barricade and BA Prime (about 1:28), Blackout would need to be 1cm taller. His height depends on how you position his legs/if you chicken-leg him or not.
And his helicopter mode is way too small (1:35 as opposed to 1:28).
I don't mind his size personally, but if someone made a more accurate one, with a bigger helicopter mode i'd probably consider replacing my WJ one.
That looks dope. The windows are still kinda far apart, but the abs help the silhouette a lot
That’s just his opinion lol. You don’t need to agree with it but it doesn’t make it wrong and yours objectively right.
Well..this changes a lot
I might have to finally open mine to try that. I wish there was a full tutorial though.
Now all we need is a larger head
