Mmm... compare it with the CGI, then we talk later XD.
Not a bad compromise at all. And this is not even the BA one. Proportions and silouhette are really good, nothing sticks out like a sore thumb. Awesome figure.
Maybe BA could re-do the M01??? More accurate looking, one all busted, and other all shinny, with chrome and flames and sparkle blue & red colores, imagine the cab starting in the front with a gradient (from the bottom) orange and the too on red, with flames on the sides, and the blue is form the middle to the back of the cab
Looks so shinny!!!
Man, you need a PHD to transform him into a truck.
The main thing I like about this one is the lower arms, but I like the shoulders of the Black Mamba version. I still won't get this until there's a DOTM version.
I've just spent the last hour trying to transform him, but I'm stuck, it seems like I have two left smokestacks, it just won't fit on the gun part that fits in the gas tanks...
Maybe it's just me, if anyone has a suggestion or could check their figure to confirm that both somestacks have to be different...
You have a bad apple
These guys missed some minor things in the transformation, but they got the abs looking pretty good! Wish I knew what they were saying!
Yeah, looking at the video up there both smokestacks have to be different, crap.
Do I have to go through tf-direct to get a replacement part or is there a more direct approach?
I will help translate this to the key points. Not perfect translation as I speak Malay and they are speaking Indonesian but both languages are very similar.
The gist of it is that they repeatedly mention that it is very challenging to transform especially the two guns. It took them forever and there were a lot of nerve wrecking moments. They say that it is basically impossible to transform without the manual and joke that those that like to transform without the manual will love the challenge with this one.
They are very impressed with how the gas tank transformed and integrated neatly on the back.
They repeatedly say that despite the challenge in transforming him, the end result is really impressive and amazing. They say that it looks like the 3A figure and it is crazy because the 3A figure doesn’t transform and this one does.
They made comparison with the official and BMB version and say that while BMB version is an impressive toy the BA version is truly the most amazing version of this mold. You probably notice them saying the word “gila” a lot and that would directly translate to crazy and in this context it means it is crazy in a good way like super brilliant or amazing or incredible.
They also say the price is much cheaper than the official and about the same price as a BMB. To be clear it seems they didn’t buy this and this is a review unit loan by the local toy store.
This vídeo is the one I liked more, I guess the camera shows the real colors and how it really look on real. This is impressive!
Haven't seen any more wobbly waist in these newer videos. Has anyone who has him noticed any issues with the waist?
I'm glad peeps are getting theirs. I still have no update on when mine will be shipped, but I think at this point I'm going to take a break from this thread until after I receive mine. I feel like my anticipation and excitement for it is dropping the more I follow the thread, so until then... Laterz!
(Makes one of the most inaccurate looking abs possible.)
(Wonders why people are complaining about it and says it’s hate)
Matter of preference fam, the head is not proportionally smaller than in MPM or BMB so it’s not a step backwards. The chest on the other hand is an issue that none of its competitors have so it’s a step backwards, not to mention that a “small” head doesn’t ruin heroic proportions as much as a pot belly.
I'm warming up to this.
Yeah I think I'm going to wait until there is a mod or something. It's frustrating but the red truck bits sticking out like that really does ruin the heroic look that the official and BMB have. :/
As much as I adore MPM4 (it's likely that I still like it more than BA), the beer gut look is partially more accurate.
With that said, having 4 copies of the same MPM mold now I'd still say that the official is my favorite to handle size & joint wise.
LT02 has very loose fingers & the waist swivel went a bit loose.
BMB's a friggin door stopper with that size.
And BA I'm still figuring out the transformation but... the weight and size makes me a bit reserved when it comes to messing with it.
trying to see him transform him made my eyes bleed
