Common enough that mine had the problem causing me to make replacements. It appears to be the right ratchet mostly from what I am hearing. The left on yours is probably ly installed inproperly and will most likely break. I discovered this on a replacement I had installed and realized their was a difference when I installed the other side. It will most likely have a stress mark right at the base of the ratchet bump.

Can we just call it the KOE Prime? Sounds cooler.

(KOE as a pun of AOE and standing for Knock Off Evasion)

And the window framing in Alt mode. Otherwise one of my all time favorites.

I had a request for clear light piping for this guys head and eyes piece. Just out of curiosity is that something anyone else would be interested in?

not for me to be quite honest I prefer the solid painted eyes, but it's not a bad idea I encourage you to make copies of anyone is interested.

Ok, transformed him finally. The arms flipping over to make the cab front is just as much a pain as the voyager, maybe amplified by how tight the arm shoulder rotation joint is and by fear of chipping the die cast sides. I won't be doing this one over and over.

But he does look quite nice in truck mode. Those should panels and new stacks really make a world of difference. Completely fixes the back of the truck mode cab.

Once again, as per the original, the feet make the rear of the truck look completely wonky. But the change of twisting the toes around at least hides some of the foot underside now. Wish the tanks were silver or chrome, would look much better. I kind of hope a 3rd party makes him new gas tanks to replace the existing ones, sans the stupid gun feature, painted silver or chromed out.

Two very awesome takes on the g1 truck between my mpp10 and this m01, love them both.

Now.... Wei Jaing.... about that improved leader class mold I dream of....

The fandom can always ask Wei Jang if he'd consider revamping the ROTF mold. If he responded to the question about the black repaint of this mold, I'm sure he'd respond about this one

Maybe some of the reported broken hip joints were from couriers handling the packages really badly. I have six of these things (i apologize for bragging) and not a single one of them have broken hip or shoulder joints. And i have transformed the first one more than 10 times now from robot to truck and this thing was made to take some beating.

Something I don't get though. Why did they not fix the truck windows not lining up for the windshield. It's as flawed as the original. All the effort put into the other fixes and awesome detailing, only to have that hanging over it. Weird. My only thinking is they either couldn't find a solution or the solution was too hard to implement.

Though, simply remolding the center flip around piece slightly should have solved the worst of it. The bottom of the windshield lines up. The top is slightly off, so my obvious answer would have been to move the top windshield frame lines up a smidge to at least get the windows lined up. Everything else out of alignment I could live with.

I don't have this one yet, but on my Voyager OP I can get the windows to line up if I don't tab in the top flap under the arms. I wonder if filing those down would cause it to be too floppy or if it would hold correctly.

Taking a quick look, I flipped up the flaps at the back of tha cab *on the voyager, these pieces are the roof portion sticking out from his arm under his fist, on the ko they improved upon that with flaps*, and the adjusted the front windows. It does line up better, but also makes the roof center piece depress towards the rear and then you can't flatten the roof flaps back down unless you cut the tabs on the sides away. I suppose cutting them would not be the worst thing, but the roof line looks strange anyway.

I got a little paint chip on mine transforming it a few times...it's small and not super obvious, but a bit annoying nonetheless.

Hm. Paint chips. I'll have to check my hobby store and see if they've got a paint coater to fix that before it becomes an issue. Never had a paint chip on my Diecast regular-scaled KOE Prime.

Speaking of, was that Wei Jang too or was the Ku Bian Bow? Or Kubianbow? Or whatever the hell its called?

You're probably right. It's also because the packaging was not designed well enough. It seemed like my broken hip was caused by excess pressure pushing up on the bottom of the box. There was enough force to displace OP upwards so that he left a silhouette of his head and top of his shoulders carved into the styrofoam. Also, the styrofoam between his legs broke off.

Sounds like an awesome idea. Makes me wish someone did a proper gun for him on Shapeways.

4ever cannon costs too much. I have him posed on top of the hasbro 20th anny optimus stand with a Boom Shot in hand. The lovely Scarlett seen as well
