Those are plastic. Wouldn’t you want to utilize the magnet that’s in place inside the shoulder by putting on a metal painted one? I’m sure it will be coming soon.

Dude, you seem pretty content with a figure with the issues you just mentioned. Maybe not. In either case, it would really suck if mine arrived like that. Wonder if they sent you one that made the rounds with reviewers. Remember the tapping screwdriver reviewer?

Yeah I'm hoping it was just a fluke and the rest are good.

Thanks man. Yeah either customs or the post office must've just thrashed mine.

Haha I thought about that, I think I just got unlucky. No reason to be too upset, nothing I can do about it now. I'm just waiting for Showz yo reply and see what they can do for me.

I got mine and for me it is the ultimate Optimus Prime toy. It's huge, heavy, surprisingly stable, and it has a lot more detail than I expected. I like the chromed face, personally. Definitely worth the $330 I paid at TF-Direct.

That said, mine has several issues:

    1. One of the smoke stacks has a broken connector
    2. It's missing both of the flip-up communicator panels for the arms
    3. One of the chrome gas tanks does not peg in securely (seems to have gotten worn during transportation)

TF-Direct says they are going to get replacements for the broken/missing parts from the manufacturer, but they say it may take a while. The gas tank thing doesn't bother me too much, and I could probably use clear nail polish to fix it.

Despite those problems, I still recommend it. It's just such a well-executed toy. Props to Lewin Resources!!

So strange. Mine was also from TF-Direct, and it's literally perfect. aka Flawless. and I don't usually say that about these sorts of toys. But I have been looking over mine obsessively for days. I just don't see anything wrong on mine at all.

Damn, I didn't even realize that was the oversize MP 10 in your photo. I'm staring at my MPP10 on the shelf right now, looking at your picture, and it's dawning on me how huge this figure is.

Damn, all these pics and issues are making this wait completely stuck. Still no update on mine, just sitting in "accepted in china on 8/31" status. Weird thing is, if I use china tracking, it says delivered on 9/3?!? I'm hoping that means delivered to the plane or ship on its way to the US?

This may have been addressed earlier in the thread, but any idea where all the bits in the little baggie are supposed to go? I imagine the blue circular ones are to fit in the screw holes on the leg, but I’m at a bit of a loss on the rest.

I don't think it's been addressed at all, actually. Most of those parts are battery covers -- the grey ones fit into the chest, and under the feet, and the blue one fits over the battery housing behind the head...
...or at least, it's supposed to. Mine doesn't fit worth a damn. :redface2:

Still, given the other QC issues that have been reported in this thread, I'm lucky that's the only problem I encountered.

I emailed them. Gonna suck if it's lost, I highly doubt ShowZ has extra in stock for "lost in shipping" items. I won't be getting one for months!
