Okay. If you can't find an adapter, I can make a quick mod to provide a version. I'd need measurements of the original head (width, depth, height (both just the head and top of head to bottom of balljoint)), a photo of the space the head folds into in vehicle mode, and if possible a measurement of how far from the back edge of the helmet the center of the balljoint is.

I can do something along those lines for $40.

That would also be a $40 commission situation, though if you are okay going with version 1 Flamewar rather than the Wings version, I've already got a G1 Arcee faceplate that would be very close.

Thanks, Trent, I'll have to hang fire on that for now though, a prior commitment has resurfaced. Sorry, mate.

Now up in the Shapeways store!

The water-heater that shuffles like a man, Doctor Satan’s Robot! Also known as the Republic Robot, which popped up to ruin the day of Copperhead, Crash Corrigan, Commando Cody, and any other pulp hero (whose name starts with a C, apparently).

At first glance I was thinking the head sculpt was a little small. Then I started thinking of it as he is an autotrooper so he'd be kind of like the brute squad. The ends are a tight fit, but works. I will probably need to sand the connector ball a tad so I can add the primer, paint coat, and clear coat. But if anyone else has the same idea...this is how it looks: jazz head.jpg

    Nice! Glad that worked.

I've updated the NES zapper to be sprued sets, to provide maximum value under the current pricing structure. If you need anything in the store sprued, let me know.

Couple of updates... first, a sneak peek at what's to come:

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

There will be more pics coming as samples are painted and more figures are developed, but I just got in my final set of test prints for my new 3d printed joint system for 2″ figures and the results are GREAT! The connections work interchangeably with their Mega Construx equivalents, with a nice snug, but not over-tight fit in either Versatile or smooth detail shapeways plastics.

Put simply, I can make slightly-better-than-OG-MOTU figures in the 2" scale, as customizable kits.

And now to the current release:

The first figure release for our new PintPrize Figure Kit System is now up and ready for purchase on the Shapeways store. 2″ articulated action figures with interchangeable parts that swap freely between different PintPrize designs, or with Mega-Construx figures!

Trent! This is so cool, man.

I don't collect in that scale, but this is a HUGE GET for those who do.

FUD, or Smooth Fine Detail Plastic. I prefer the clear plastic when possible because it is so smooth and great looking.
