Put it this way: Dark of the Moon is the only movie of the 3 that I would actually sit through while watching at home. I realized this when I went and saw it the 2nd time last week. The plot doesn't really have any down or boring parts, it moves along and kept me interested.

    1 and 2? There's a lot to fastforward through.

The first live action. It was pretty awesome and a great opener. It went downhill with the second, and the third made up for ROTF's shortcomings, but I found it somewhat lacking. I think because some of the whimsy of the first film wore off.

    Also, ....Ironhide...... :(

This is REALLY close between TF (2007) and DOTM to where I'd almost call it a tie. They're both great for different reasons.
That's why it is so hard for me to decide. The first one had this sense of awe that I still get every time I watch it. The third one was awesome in it's own right but didn't quite have that same feeling. I think I'll be able to decide better once I see DOTM again on DVD.

The 3rd was REALLY good, fights, explosions, the twist, characters, LASERBEAK!!! All so good.

But lets take it back.........remember when we saw that helicopter that was reported shot down in Afghanistan being escorted to the Saxon army base, soldiers armed up surrounding the Copter then we heard that g1 Transformation sound, gears moving and parts shifting and we saw Decepticon: Blackout TEAR SHIT UP!

For "Me" I REALLY love the 1st one more than any of them, i like how NO ONE knew what they were and they were always surprised, the story of Sam was cool too, to see that he is just a kid that happened to have a Great Grandpa that stumbled across Megs and is now put in the middle of this robotic war. IMO these films were all great and i must thank M. Bay for having such a huge love for Transformers to resurrect it and give a new look. I mean, the man is a G1 head, His dog is named Bonecrusher, lol. Also got "The Cullen" To play prime, even though no one can do it like Cullen does it.

One last thing. I Loved carly (Rosie) for the mere fact that she is gorgeous and those lips, But i would have really wanted to see how Mikayla (Mega) would have played out in this film, think about it, she was there from the beginning, Barricade and Bee Chase scene, Sector 7 arrest/Bumblebee's capture, Freeway scene and ALL of ROTF, Thats alot, at that point in my life, im am connected to the hip of my partner after going threw ALL that you know?
I just think they should of acknowledge her a bit more than the explanation that Sam gave us in DOTM, he loved her and vice versa.

Damn you guys, sorry bout the Novel, lol.

Also, cool fact i JUST found out that the voice of Jazz in TFTM was played by "Eddy" from Family matters! lol Awesome.

    '07 movie.

Best story/writing, best acting, best CGI (yeah, I said it, the damn robots looked totally real, whereas they looked like CGI in the other two movies), best jokes, second best action sequences.

Dark of the Moon as a Transformers or action movie, the first one for a more balanced casual movie you can easily rewatch.

And I also agree with the post above mine, the CGI in the 07 movie actually looked better somehow than in ROTF and DOTM. I can't explain it, but in the 07 movie the CGI just feels spot on while in the other two you can tell it's fake sometimes. The only thing is that ROTF and DOTM had massive CGI stuff like Devastator, Driller, and the Megatron/Fallen meet up scene.

The firs one had a sence of greatness and a childlike AW and an endiring story of a boy and his first car that pretty much everybody went thourgh and in some parts it had that old Spilberg vibe. If it hadn't been done by Michael Bay who inserted all the worst parts of it it would have been a lot lot better.

With ROTF and DOTM it all fell apart since Bay way too much control over it. Granted DOTM action scene were mid-blowing and one of the greatest things I ever saw on a big screen, but as whole movie the first one is the only one that I can rewatch witouth the fast forward button.
