In my opinion, the movie could have been longer, and I still would have loved it. Everything that needed to be in it, as far as the story goes, was in it, and nothing dragged on too long. I thought it was on a whole new level, above the first/last three pictures.

Peter Cullen sold it. Transformers were both this time, characters and spectacle. It had just the right amount of mystery, and everything wasn't spelled out to us like DOTM has been.

Excited, that Welker is Galvatron, and that Megatron, didn't completely disappear from the films  

 

I rated 9. I wish they could have had more with the Dinobots, and have them talk, not roar. That's the only thing that drops the score from 10 to 9. IMO, it's the best in the series so far.

8.5/10 very good. IMO it has better action than the first,a better movie than the second, and more enjoyable than dotm. HERE I AMMMMM!!!!!

Well I value 10/10 as a movie without improvement - so in my mind anyone voting that believes TF;AOE is perfect so no point doing another...

If I had to rate the films on this scale;
1986; 8.5/10
2007; 6/10
ROTF; 1/10
DOTM; 4/10
AOE; 5.5/10

Fairly average movie in my mind.

 

9/10 best film in the franchise. I did a lot of things write that was missing from the last 3 and after my first viewing, it just left me speechless for the rest of the evening. No other movie has done that with me. Definitely a good theatrical experience that I enjoyed even more then the recent marvel films, hell even Avengers.

 

6/10 and that's giving it points cause I'm a Transformers fan

As an overall movie a 7.5/10 but as a "Transformers" movie I'd give it a 8.5/10.

only saw it once so this is kind of a rough rating but i give it a 7...2nd best in the series behind the original.

 

8/10 the plot kinda confuses me but the action and some humor of the movie and acting of Whalberg, Tucci, and Grammer were great.

Agreed, 8/10 here.

 

A very high 8 for me, easily the best of the movies. DVD will make it a 9, due to the obivous deleted scenes, so many of the scenes in the film just seem like there should of been something else said or something.

Still despite the problems its a great film, the characterisation is much better, Lockdown was amazing, the Dinobots were good, but under-used despite the hype. was fun, enjoyable and shocking in some areas

Bring on TF5 i say, If lockdown is anything to go by, Galvatron will be amazing.
