ok...what were the colors of the other seeker jets seen sporadically throughout the original TF cartoon? I know sunstorm was the yellow one, and I think there was an off-green one. does anyone know their names?

and the second part. I plan on obtaining three cheap (but complete) starscreams to alter to become the "other" seekers. for you kit-bashers and whatnot out there, what kind of paints do you use and what other information can you provide a novice like me?

Starscream - Gray, Red
Ramjet - White, Black
Thundercracker - Blue, Silver
Thrust - Red, Black
Skywarp - Black, Silver
Dirge - Blue, Black, Orange
Sunstorm - Yellow, Black

 

I think I recall seeing those off seekers on the back of some ko korean world's smallest tfs seekers packageing.

as far as paint i am using tamiya acrylic white and model master insignia yellow.the easiest way is to completely dismantle the seeker when painting

 

Someone compiled a catalogue of generic Decepticons (the bulk of which are Seekers) here.

Mind you, the names he gives them are mostly his own nicknames (and some borrowed from others). He also references when/where most of them appeared in the cartoon, which is helpful.

As far as I know, the seven primary Seekers are the only ones who HAVE canonical names. Someone correct me if I am wrong. The others might have agreed-upon-fan-names, though, I suppose.

Yeah, I didn't think they had names. Sunstorm hasn't had a name for very long has he??? When did he get his name?

 

He got his name in 2003 when he was released as an e-hobby exclusive.

 

Spaceship Bruce: he was pink with a pastel blue & salmon trim and he was FABULOS!

 

I always called the green one 'Acid Rain' (he used the ability in the show) & the red one 'Barnstorm'.

This is the best I could do, although I like the idea of those three, garrish solid colours being called the Rainmakers.
