would you mind show me a pic from the same angle as the one below? Thanks!
The yellow highlighted tip always blocks the cannon turn to the left. Now I have to turn it to a different position from yours.

Oh yes, now that you mentioned it, armor piece definitely have to be either removed or as in my case, pushed off to some degree to give room without removing.

Your best bet is to get a small screwdriver that can fit between the gap of both shoulders and unscrew it that way

Whatever fits should work, you just want it to grip properly so you don't strip it (sorry this is late)

Well, my Zeus has been displayed for a year in a static pose. Took him off the shelf to dust him off and noticed that the peg to the shoulder was sheared off. I dont think the peg was strong enough to hold the cannon arm. As I was trying to fix the arm, the other peg desentigrated and the arm sheared right off. I've never transformed him and just had him on display away from windows and in a room with no humidity.

Did u put him in the same room with Autobots? Bad idea. As soon as you turn your back, they will fight each other. U better check your Grimlock, it might lost some teeth too.

I grabbed mine and tried to pose him a little. And then the leg exploded.
    What a guy

Yeah looks like my dislike for BMB at the time saved me from an “explosive” time…. Really wish it was solid though…

Update: Glued the broken panel together, disassembled the ratchet joint (the gear and spring are out now) so it's a mere friction joint. But he stays, the transformation/poseability is technically still there (although he's very wobbly). Maybe I'll try to get some replacement parts, just in case I'll foolishly decide to touch him again in the future :p

It's not that hard. You just need to unpeg the shoulder and backpack then it will give you ample of space to access 3 screws there

Oh my. Is the room too hot or cold? Always when I see such a post I will go double check or triple check on mine. Still in one piece luckily. Not to mention my copy has fell from the top of IKEA Detolf and still surviving until now

Eh... normal I guess? :D  More like the plastic they used is just shitty. The most dangerous part is not even rotating the legs but pulling out the hips for the transformation. That's when my copy broke. It's the 1st batch btw.

Mine was the first batch as well but with the hip replacement. The most scary moment is when Shockwave decided to take a dive down from the top of Ikea Detolf. Was surprise to see it is still in good shape

So I wanted to look at my OS Shockwave up close and I grab it off my shelf and the right leg falls off in my hand. Mine is the first batch and I already replaced the parts with the good ones like over a year and a half ago. Come to find out the hip joint that comes out of the hip ball and goes into the leg broke into four pieces. So I super glued it back together and 3d modeled it and 3d printed me a new piece. If anyone wants this piece, let me know. Its free. I will email you the STL file. Send me a DM here on the boards. See images below. I printed the piece at super high quality and 100% infill. You can see my settings at the top right of the first photo.

PM sent! If you ever did replacement parts for the Toyworld Contructions set, you'd be my hero! Thank you for this!
