I do not completely agree (EDIT: that, even generally, KO are the same or better than official). There have been some KO that are improvements on all levels (LT-02 is glorious and it wasn't difficult for Honey Badger MPM-08 to blow the official out of the water) but most KO are still KO and cut costs somewhere. Improved KO are very rare. Most of the time, materials. Example: My Hide Shadow oversized Blackout, even though it is an UV coated, magnetically sealed Moducase cabinet, still yellowed in less than 6 months. Crappy materials on an almost a $100 figure that has only been handled once. If it were the same or better, at least material wise, that should not happen for about a decade or so. Just because the cost on KO is going up does not mean that they are as good or better than official. Sometimes, they still suck in one way or another. I hope this one is at least decent. The Panda Studio Shockwave is obscenely expensive, even as an unpainted kit. I rarely buy KO, though I do get to handle a lot of them, and I will wait till I have this one in hand before I pass judgement as to weather it is good or not.
