That I don't know. Maybe the ratchets, spine and waist filler can be used, but the wings, hands and sword have different connectors.
Ah, because the way I'm looking at it: These WJ Predacons are the superior mold, but it doesn't seem the shoulder joint is much better than the original- so if I can use the DNA kit to strengthen the joints, while sticking with the WJ version = can't fail. ^_^
I would say to wait for the complete set and check if it really needs an upgrade, but we don't know how long it will take, and the DNA can become pretty hard to find after a while. Maybe someone who owns both version can check if the joint on the WJ is stronger?
Someone with the WJ Dive bomb can do a disassemble to see if the ratchet is the same as Ben's video. I can't at the moment though, so putting the idea out there for someone else to do I don't think it would be economical though to get the DNA set just for the shoulder upgrade and weapons. I don't think anything else fits (trying to recall Ben's video from memory)
[ Yeah, you'd end up with a set of spare hands and a pair of wings, at the very least. If I already had Titan Predaking, I'd have bought the DNA set as soon as it was available (and I had it on preorder for ages anyway). However, I prefer the Wei Jiang wings (though I wish they were painted), sword design and general appearance of the Divebomb combiner arm. I like the design of the DNA hands better, but WJ's use two different coloured plastics than just plain old grey, so I guess I'm good there. Speaking of the WJ hands, that could mean the Wei Jiang combiner feet may have been remolded to accommodate them since they don't fit into the Hasbro ones. That means the only pieces from the DNA set I now want are the shoulder ratchet parts, the waist filler piece (and I'd like to see if WJ has an alternative plan, since their Divebomb seems to have some molding differences) and the waist side guns (if someone released those separately, I'd buy them on sight).
Got my Divebomb today, and have to admit I'm disappointed. A couple of years ago, I'd have thought this was awesome, but in 2019 I've come to consider plastic quality a top criteria for my enjoyment of toys. I think red/orange/mustard color scheme really accentuates the plastic I don't like.
I just got in Sky Soarer today. I absolutely love it! I'm really hoping they continue the line and if the side of the box is any indication then Razorclaw would be out next and we can check out his new light up feature. I think the price point is great for what you get and even combined he's going to be well worth the money. I wonder if they'll go back and do Titan Devastator since these seem to be selling well and getting good reviews. Getting Devi part by part would be far easier on my wallet.

Okay, so it's Saber Tooth/Rampage next. I was hoping it would be Razorclaw because I wanted to see what kind of mold changes they'd made to it's design. I guess they decided to do both of the arms first. In any case, there seem to be a few of these on Aliexpress. I'm just waiting for a Paypal seller.
