Damn, wish the hands could have opened fully at least, or extra panels like on the DNA kit or something to cover the front of the vehicle up

 

I think they’re upscaled by 1.58x as I saw another comment earlier say that. Take that with a pinch of salt but roughly the ratio looks like that

 

Crazy how small Overload actually is in comparison to Scavenger, if anything the Studio Series version would be perfect scale. Although it’s understandable due to the combine form for why he’s just as big. Realistically Hightower and Longhaul should’ve been leader classes in that line.

 

I think it would have been fine if Scavenger had been a commander class instead. That would have done wonders for the stability of the combined mode, as well as the detail and accuracy and bulk. I almost wish someone would just do a 3P of that character that can combine with the rest of the SS team.

 

Is there anywhere someone can order each figure of the set all at once? Not in a box set, but all in one order?

 

Thing is they can if they wanted to. All they’d have to do is keep in mind of the tabs and combine ports size for the rest of the Constructicons (like not even change it) while making Scavenger bigger. Tbh Mechanical Team could’ve done that, but Scavenger would be really ginormous then (although it would be movie accurate then to Studio Series Prime)

Just got my Scavenger. He's a big, beefy boy! But they somehow didn't mold the little cutout for the cab, so it can't collapse fully against the shoulder? That's really weird, considering it's supposed to be an upscaled KO...

Yup. My wheel struts were misassembled as well. Needed to swap them as well.

 

I decided Hightower was missing some detail so I decided to add some myself.

 

I was not prepared for how massive and absolutely unwieldily this beast would be!
I’m starting to feel like the added die cast was not a good idea for the combined mode.

 

Well guys, this is the break to look out for on Scavenger. The stress on most of the figure's rotating elements, including shoulders, from the limb pieces in combined mode plus the rotation around this particular axle seems to do it. I guess we'll be seeing how good the after sales is...
