Weird that they based the alt modes on some of them off of other third party figures. I noticed that the Crane, green Excavator, dumptruck, and the Fornt End Loader are from Generation Toy, And the Bull dozer and Mixer look like a mix of Generation Toys and TFC's
Before the Devastator head attached I thought we were going to get a creeper (minecraft) like combiner. The chestplate behind the head is very cursed. The overall combiner is just very cursed. What seals the deal though is the bricked g1 like Devastator at the end. Bricked movie vs bricked g1: the duality if man.
I'm afraid he's too small for 1/32 ROTF scale. Here's some pictures with ROTF LC Prime, I know the Mack truck is a little smaller than the Peterbilt, but not that much p.s the pictures were taken from YouTube
He is slightly undersized but actually not terribly far off; compared him to this pic from the set of DOTM and it’s not outrageously off scale.
Just got Mech Team Long Haul in the other day and thought I'd assemble the group that made the return trip after reviving Megatron. He's my first knock off figure as well as my first oversized figure and I'm satisfied with him.
he’s seriously the best one, I think. I don’t have any interest in building the entire combiner— totally happy with just having this big chunky boy.
Long Haul took priority as the first one I decided to get. I'm still pretty set on going in on the full Mechanical Team set for the combined mode, but as far as individual robot/vehicles go, SS Rampage/Skipjack, Mixmaster and Scrapper are fine but I'm doing OS for the rest.
I have 2 major problem with the os devi:1. the size, even the regular aoyi version is hard to handle not that giant monster. 2. The os does not have the dna kit wich makes the figure much better in my opinion.
Can anyone do the math to by how much these guys are upsized? I want to get an estimate as to how big Scavenger would be. Thanks!
I don't know the exact upsizing, but it was estimated that they were upsized by about 1.58 times when Rampage was revealed. Not sure if that has been updated since then though.
I think they're about 1.5x the size? Not 100% sure on that, but I seem to recall that someone did the maths earlier in the thread.
The official studio series version is 14 inch, so if MT version 1,58x the size, the height will comparable to mp scale combiner, around 22 - 24 inch
Yep, his low hanging head would reach similar heights to CW devestator, with his back going even higher. If finished this would be one big bot.
Really big boy, consider the studio series one, already have wide scale, it will have more volume than toyworld Devastator too
Hello. Sorry for the late reply, but I found the exact measurements for the OS Mixmaster, and based on the actual length of the truck, it's 1/40-1/39 scale, which should fit the SS cars perfectly
