Hi All, after 2 years I finally finished this damn repaint! I hated the factory defensor Menasor hybrid thing they released a year after the gave us the 1st to over sized stunticons so setout to fix it.


Ditched the humvee wildrider and repainted a break down to more correct colors, threw paint over deadend to fix the body work and replaced the torso with combiner wars motermaster and the PE kit. Also printed out some energon to combiner wars ports from shapeways to make everything fit and some angled combinerwars sockets to fix the extreme A stance from the PE kit.


wildrider and deadend were base coated in Krylon Fusion for plastics flat camoflage black. Deadend was then top coated in Duplicolor Barossa red. Glass on deadend is Tamiya flat black with a gloss top coat. The legs were painted in Games worksop Runefang steel. the head is flat Tamiya black and the eyes are a custom of flourocolor purple, tamiya metalic blue and paint with pearl Kandy metalick purple flake (40 drops, 10 drops, 1/4 tsp)



Wildriders glass is a custom mix of Tamiya clear red and paint with pearl Kandy Mica Red pigment, also used on the arms, chest and panels.

the greys are tamiya gunmetal, games workshop Ironbreaker and Runefang steel. Eyes are the same purple as used on deadend face is tamiya clear red over Tamiya aluminium.

All 4 limbs.

I guess the agressive A stance is mandatory. Still I didn't think this would work so well. Especially for the bulky Menasor.

 

Thanks I appreciate it! yeah the PE kit give motermaster a crazy A stance, the adaptors from shapeways bring the legs much straighter.

I't'll do untill someone does an oversize KO of Warbotrons eventual Menasor or toyworld makes a constructor sized one.
