Sorry if this is an old topic, just thought it was interesting. "Don Murphy originally wanted the film to feature seven Autobots (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Jazz, Ratchet, Prowl and Wheeljack) against eight Decepticons (Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble, Skywarp and Shockwave). In the event, only seven of those Transformers (five Autobots and two Decepticons) made it into the film, but Soundwave and Ravage made it into the second film and Laserbeak and Wheeljack (renamed Que) made it into the third film. The female Autobot Arcee was going to appear in the film, but the writers couldn't properly explain the concept of robot gender in the film, so she was removed and replaced with Ironhide. Arcee would appear in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", the writers deciding to ignore the issue of gender." -from IMDB If this is true then imagine what the film would've been like! Do you think it would be better or worse? Who do you think would have died in the first film? Do you think replacing Arcee with Ironhide was a good choice? What would the sequels be like? I think jazz, Wheeljack, rumble, ravage, Skywarp and Megatron would have died. The other deceptions would of retreated after Megatron dies. The the sequel would be reviving Megatron. What's your thoughts?
I think Prowl or still even Jazz would of died. I also think it would of made the second one possible better as there wouldn't of been much room for Skids and Mudflap. We're all so wounded by ROTF.
I honestly don't know. Would they have actually had any form of characterization a chance to shine? that's the real question of the day.
