I believe this was pointed out right when the record was released.
Hey, look who it is! You probably don’t hear it enough, but great work on the fansubs! I know it must have been a lot of hard work, so tremendous thanks - I’ve really enjoyed them.
You're welcome - glad to hear you've enjoyed our work! Hope you also enjoy Beast Wars Neo when we're finally done subbing it
Wait where can I find them?
Yes, I heard that. The effects were also different. But I prefer the season 3 theme anyway, so it didn't bother me as much, as the fact, that most of the songs I actually wanted from this soundtrack, are not even present. My craving for the G1 soundtrack was not sated with this vinyl. Just a little. But mostly I still crave the G1 soundtrack.
I wonder if there will be anything else coming, now that Robert J. Walsh is dead.
So is it only vinyl or CD too?
Just vinyl for now.
And it is out march 9th?
Think they've been out for awhile now. Not sure if any places have available stock left.
I'm super late on this, but I came back to see what was new in the world of Transformers and totally missed this piece of news. Very sad
Hasbro Studios Presents '80s TV Classics: Music from The Transformers (ETT016)
Just check out the uploads of Antronus Nexus in YT.
He uploaded TF G1 background music
I don't know he ripped it from the vinyl but for me it's good enough.
I wonder why nobody mentioned it here before.
Probably cause they don’t like to talk about piracy here.
Piracy? Hmmmm. Maybe.
But the thing with the YT upload I mentioned above was already there before the Vinyl version came out.
So if we're talking about "Piracy from the Vinyl Record", i think it doesn't qualify.
Piracy only exists because of stupid shit like only releasing something long awaited on a dead platform. Can't blame the consumer for that one.
That's true. Best example: Transformers Animated. It was aired in HD and that's how I downloaded it. I'm still waiting for a Blu-Ray release, because I don't want to buy it in an inferior format. The one time I recently caved in and bought the Black Cauldron on DVD, because Disney just does not release it on Blu-Ray, I really regret that decision. You can see every pixel on an 47 inch display. I could have just as well just downloaded it from the internet, that's how it looks. Like a rip from the late 90s.
I generally don't want to buy DVDs anyway. That's a dead format. If they don't release a blu-ray, I don't buy it.
Man,...... i just checked into these again since this thread popped up now. I really need to finish getting the Optimus and the Megatron asap that is for sure. I have forgotten all about these again for some reason or another.
I would buy these if they were available on CD, or even better, Blu-Ray lossless audio.
I can’t get back into vinyl.
2:09-2:10 for reference.
Yeah I agree Robert said he found all the masters so I reckon they could do a 2nd vinyl. I wish they'd just put a CD out though.
