I can't wait for Rogue Toys to open. I'm a huge vintage collector and love going to new stores. Plus this place is right down the road from me. The thing that sucks is I have a tooth extraction the date of the Grand opening, and it's bumming me out. Maybe I'll order Devastator to cheer me up.

I moved here a few years ago from the East Coast and realized right away that there is heavy scalping going on in this area. The stores here are basically barren. That's why I don't bother wasting my time looking in stores anymore.

 

Drove down to the Eugene area for the weekend...driving back up today we stopped at TRU in Eugene and Salem and both had one CW Devastator for $159 in case anyone was looking for him.  

 

Target in Albany has some unexpected stuff on clearance today. Leader thundercracker/arm megs 32, rid 5 pack exclusive 1 step for 25, new mega rid prime for 15. Not sure why so many new items are already clearance but it might be worth a look. All movie stuff too, woohoo!

I'm considering selling the majority of my CHUG (Classics, Henkei, Universe, Generations) collection, including third-party figures and add-ons.

Is there much interest locally among you guys? Especially if the prices are below eBay?

If so, Oxidative and I might set up a garage sale.

FRANKENSTEIN'S COMICBOOK SWAP

It occurs every 3 months. You can call Cosmic Monkey Comics and ask for Tim or Andy to get more info, like when the next one is. Its mostly comix, which is awesome, but there is at least one guy who attended the 1st 2 doing toys (and a lot of TFs). Table space is cheap, and its a real fun time. It happens at the Eagles hall in SE, there is a bar, food, and they show old movies/DJ the event.

 

That's a really good idea! Unfortunately my band is in the studio recording on the next swap date (dammit).

 

I'm also interested Botch. I still need many CHUG figures. I have a friend who also would be very interested.

 

I'm always interested in looking for cool stuff. I've got a pretty nice CHUG collection myself but if you've got 3rd Party stuff amongst that then I'm definitely interested in taking a look and possibly buying things!
