For the longest time, there was an Oregon Social group on the board but now that is gone so this is probably the next best thing. The Oregon members can decide on dates and such. We could also discuss it in conversations/private messages but I feel that this thread could be the starting point.

Sorry that I did not see the messages (stupid board). Anyhow, our meet-ups are always on the weekends either in Portland, Vancouver or Beaverton area. Whoever wants to host has to decide when to hold the meet-up. At this time, we have not had one for quite some time (close to 18 months). I am up for one in the spring-time. If I recall right, people might be interested in seeing the two obscure seekers.

 

Sorry, I didn't see a lot of interest here, so the plan for January evaporated. I guess we need to push this thread on the sightings board and facebook or whatever else local folks are using now. Feb is out for me as I'm way too busy, so maybe we can start looking at March?

 

Yeah, February is busy on my end with Wizard World this weekend plus February is halfway over. March is pretty open for me. In terms of other means of discussing about meet-ups, we probably need to figure out what social media arenas people use other than TFW.

 

If we want a flyer to promote the event I am available to make it. Can use it to post on social media

The pizza choices are Cheese, Pepperoni, or Combo (Supreme). Looks like I will be ordering 4-5.
I'll have diet coke, mt dew, pepsi, and sprite. Let me know if these don't work for folks.
I'll have a veggie tray and cheese & crackers but feel free to bring a side or snacks if you want.

Really sorry that I could not make it this past Sunday. Looking forward for the next one. I think I'm one of the few that lives in the south area. Will be posting updates on hunts since xmas season is starting.

Interest in this past November’s meetup was generated in the Oregon Toy Sightings thread and eventually made its way to this thread. It was the first one that we had in quite some time.

In terms of interest for future meet ups, it was somewhat discussed at the meetup as well as in the Toy Sightings thread. There was talk of a January one but there has not been much talk about it since then.
