That was a great story.. Man, this is the type of thing you never want to read about. Jeez... I don't even know what to say or think. Although I was never fortunate enough to have met Gary in person, I did however speak to him a few times and We did trade and purchase a few things off each other. Gary was a great guy. He would go out of his way to help out this and the Joe community. I remember when he went totally out of his way to find me some Joe figures and vehicles. And that right there is what he was all about... helping people and making friends. This community has lost a great member and friend. I will miss him. I will always remember that picture of him and Peter Cullen. And I will miss his youtube videos.. RIP my friend..
I never had the honour of meeting Gary, but losing a fellow member is like losing one of your own, Rest in Piece my friend.
I've seen him around the boards, but never met him in person... From what I see, he was a well loved person on the boards, and I know he will be missed. My thoughts and condolences to his family, and everyone that knew him personally.
RIP Gary! This is so sad! I remember him as one of the first people I talked too on here when I joined TFW2005. He is a great guy and will be greatly missed!

I've sent some funds, I hope it will help. I never knew him personally, but enjoyed his posts and videos over the years. I once had a friend who "passed away suddenly", and was told that was a euphemism for something else I'm sure many may might be speculating after reading this thread. I'm hoping it isn't true in this case. Rest in peace Gary
I am so grateful for everyone's continued support during this difficult time. I hope Gary is looking down on us right now and see the overwhelming amount of people who loved him and miss him. I also wanted to mention that at one time I did have life insurance for him which was lost when I changed jobs. And my new job did not offer life insurance for a spouse. We couldn't obtain life insurance for him due to medical reasons. My word of advice to everyone listening is get life insurance when you are young and make sure you never cancel it. And make a Will. Without these two simple things you will leave your family with a lot of confusion and legal matters to deal in the event that you pass suddenly. But putting all that aside the only thing that matters to me at the moment is saying goodbye to the man I loved ,my soulmate. And making sure his wishes are being met. Or as he liked to say to me whenever I said goodbye, he would look me in the eyes and say it is not goodbye it is I will see you again soon. I WILL see you again soon my love and knowing you are enjoying paradise now makes this easier to accept.
Whew.....I hope he knows how many people are thinking of him these past few days. I hope there is a way for him to know that. Good job TFW for The front page coverage.
