34 years old.. so so heartbreaking! You could really tell how much they loved each other. The first true TFW romance.. :(

Once I get paid next week I'll chip in..

    Done.

This is a chance for TFW to shine as a community- though we are diminished by the loss of our friend, we can come together and help those he left behind. Give in friendship, respect, memory, and love.

Deepest condolences to his friends and family. I'm among those who didn't get the opportunity to know him personally, but I think we are all diminished a bit by his loss based on what I've read.

Great guy. I'll never forget the pics of him and his son with the Joe toys they were collecting together a few years back. Major prayers to Arcee and the kids. Wow. Shock.

Gary was such an outgoing guy. He could make a friend anywhere. That's something I've admired about him since I met him. I'm the kind of person who doesn't usually go out of my way to talk to people unless I already know them. Gary helped introduce me to quite a few people over the years. Next weekend at NJCC, I plan to follow Gary's lead and be more proactive with interacting, meeting, and just generally having a real fun time at the convention.

I think my favorite memory of Gary was back in August of 2009.

We went to Warwick, Rhode Island for the Hasbro Charity premiere of "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra"

We met up a few hours early, went to grab some food, and had some great conversations. We went back to the theater and got in line to go in. Walking in, and seeing the place decked out in G.I. Joe stuff was amazing. We were like kids, awestruck, giggling, pointing out different things.

Once we sat down in the theater, as the lights began to dim, that anticipation and realization that another of our childhood loves was about to show on that big screen was amazing.

Afterwards we spent quite awhile talking about the movie, and we just didn't want the night to end.

It was a day with two buddies just hanging out, having fun, and creating memories. It's one of (thankfully) quite a few memories I have of Gary. I will never forget them, or him. He'll always be my buddy.

I miss you immensely Gary, and the world is a poorer place without you in it.

    Met Gary on here.

He bought a couple customs from me. He was always a pleasure to talk to. Bought a few things from him when he needed to scale back.

RIP Gary. You will be missed.

I never knew Gary personally, but I did recall seeing his username around.....as well as that pic of him with Peter Cullen. He seemed like a great guy. My heart goes out to his wife and family..... :(

    RIP, TFW brother.

That's sad. :(  May he rest in piece, and my thoughts go out to his family.
