There's a nice photo of it from the front with Prime pulling it in the movie forum now.

I hope that trailer transforms into an armor for Optimus Prime, ala G1 Powermaster Prime, that would be very cool.

If anything I REALLY REALLY hope it doesn't become any stupid armor or super mode. I HATE when Prime has a super mode or combines with someone, it feels so cheap and gimmicky

I'm guessing it may be to transport then rest of the crew, or at least one or two other bots and they come busting out from inside as kind of a "Look it's G1 *boom!* Bay style!!" which I would actually be ok with  

 

Yeah, I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as I'm thinking it may just be that.

But holy crap, it would be awesome to get a trailer -> battle base playset toy with modern HasTak engineering.

 

Maybe the military/NEST are inside waiting to be released at the key area?

 

If anything, I bet it's something the government built as a rolling "office" with computers and UAV's launching out of it or something similar. Something for Prime to carry. But as colorful as they made Prime with red, blue, and flames and what not, why such a drab plain silver trailer? I would think the trailer would match the cab or at least a solid red.
I bet it's some sort of rolling computer station kind of like what they had in LFDH movie.

 

I'm disappoiinted....it could have been a Laser Prime tanker trailer. Complete with a picture of Prime blazing down a forest airbrushed on the side.

Looks like Michael Bay is giving the fans what we wanted all along. Seriously diggin' it.

 

OK, here's the video... it's a crappy cell phone shot, but you can see (sorta) the purple car and toward the end the 3 destruction derby cars... they're the load rumbling you hear... Also some video of prime's trailer trying to go back to the starting point to reshoot the shot.

But yeah, it's definitely not Jolt... my guess is Shockwave, it's a different brand, but the body and tire colors are just like the Alternators fig...
