I modeled this Optimus Prime last year for fun based off of the Masterpiece figure. Too bad the movie Optimus didn't look more like the G1 version.

Very nice :D  I would probably make the forearm arrows smaller, since the large size details kind of make him look more like a toy than a giant robot. Everything else looks very solid though.

Very awesome job. The modeling looks to be very polygon-efficient as well. You make the best use out of the least polygons. Superb! Add me to the list of people that want to see this finished.

    Optimus update

Thanks for the comments and feedback! Yes, I tried to make this model as efficient as possible, but it's still a bit too high to be used in a game engine. The final poly count is 23,180, including the gun and Matrix of Leadership. I've always dreamed of making a video game with all the giant mechs and robots from my favorite cartoons (Transformers, Macross, Voltron), and have them duke it out.

Anyways, here's what Prime looks like textured. The textures need a bit more definition and some grime and scuff marks, but I don't have time to continue working on this at the moment.
