Its a interesting idea but it feels a bit off to me for some reason so I will go ahead and say I don't really think it would be a good idea.

Personally, I think if Optimus ever does turn evil in a future movie, they need to avoid it being some cliche like him being brainwashed or possessed by the Creators and can be magically made all better with Yet Another ***damned MacGuffin; have the balls to take it all the way or don't bother.

Climax TF6 with Dark Optimus/Nemesis/Whoever and a power-armored Bumblebee being the absolute last Cybertronians standing, have them engage in a final battle to the death, have 'Bee NARROWLY come out on top but left so distraught and tired that he sheds his armor, his weapons, even his Autobot insignia and just wanders off into the dust clouds and smoldering ruin, never to be seen again. End of War, end of Cybertron, end of Transformerkind, end of movie.

 

If Optimus becomes Memesis Prime, at least have Ultra Magnus to lead the Autobots. Make Nemesis stand with Galvs and at the end Nemesis beats Galvs.

 

Or have Optimus lose his memory and is known as Orion Pax! Galvatron then takes advantage of him and make him a decepticon

Absolutely not. If people are already mad about Optimus being brutal, the whole fandom would explode if he became a Decepticon. You just can't do that to him.

What if they actually built the Optimus Prime clone in KSI covertly and we find out that Attinger is not dead but in a very grave condition. They somehow, through some sort of medical science miracle, create the abomination that is Nemisis Prime (ala Transformers Prime Silas). He then takes over the autobots with them assuming that he has simply returned from his journey.

 

I have. Optimus only 'murdered' the people responsible for his friends deaths. Why would you want to trust or even attempt to like ever again "back stabbing weasels"?

This may be daggy but..

The Creators want Optimus back because he returned from the dead in RotF. The Creators see their "creations" as their own and they did not issue his revival. This is herescy or somehing. Hell, maybe Sparks return to the Creators upon death.

In light of Lockdowns failure to capture Optimus, the Creators take further measures. They decide to issue another, equal, Optimus construct to bring him in or kill him and anyone nearby (they make Nemesis Prime).

This kind of movie gives Optimus a chance for more "freedom is the right of.. " as he fights his "ownership" and gives some Transformers who were mistreated in previous movies a maguffin to be reborn (Shockwave, Lockdown, etc..) and flesh them out more.

 

Megatron came back from the dead twice. I don't think it has anything to do with the Creators being mad about that. When a Transformer dies, they go back to the Allspark. That is why Megatron was able to come back with the shard, and that is also why Sentinel Prime was awoken by the Matrix, containing the knowledge of the Allspark. Now, I think, the Creators made Cybertron, and made the Allspark to keep reproducing life for them. Hell, there could be more Allsparks on planets like Junkion, Velocitron, and maybe even Quintessa for example.

He's pretty much as brutal and violence prone as a villain, don't see how he isn't already.

 

I would love to see that but if that were to happen Optimus Prime fans would explode into a blood thirsty rage and would storm Bay's office and rip him to pieces as well as rip his writers to pieces.

 

They've been threatening to do that for the last seven years. I honestly don't think Bay's in any real danger.

 

You do realise that if Optimus became evil.... THAT IT WOULD SERVE AS A GREAT STORYLINE!!!!!
Although to the casual moviegoer they might get confused as to why a good guy like Prime turns evil.

But then again, it could play out like a Darth Vader sorta thing, with Prime face-ripping everyone, Autobots, Decepticons and humans, then face-rips Unicron and establishes himself as the God of our Universe, before traveling to every over universe and face-ripping everyone there, where afterwards he creates a new race known as the face-huggers and sends them to another reality. Thus the Alien franchise begins...
