I was just watching the show on my laptop with my nephew when I saw a truck that looked like optimus what do you guys think?
It is extremely likely that is meant as a reference to Transformers, given the pedigree of not only DJW, but many other members of the cast and crew. I'd even go as far as to say their backgrounds and the shape of the cab of that truck, that it's meant to be a reference to ANIMATED Optimus Prime. There's a couple other cartoon references in the show that DJW has already copped to, such as T-bob from M.A.S.K.
Heh. nice. It's not just that but in the pilot episode of Omniverse one of the goons is Crasher from the Go-Bots. also David Kaye does voice in the show, another Optimus Prime.
I thought she looked familiar. Good find, both of you guys! And, I seriously wouldn't be surprised that it's on purpose given DJW's homaging skills in Transformers Animated
Totally an OP reference, if only because I've never actually seen any other truck trailer, toy or in real life, have that distinctive stripe on it if it wasn't an Optimus Trailer.
