Kinda underwhelmed.

At the moment it feels a bit arbitrary, like change for the sake of change. Stick on a few bits so we can sell some more merchandise. Not that I don't see the need, but it might fall a bit short of being jaw-droppingly awesome. Whatever issues I have with the movies, I was pretty much instantly impressed with Prime's 2007 altmode and AOE revamp, and then seeing them revert to the G1 alt in Bumblebee was like a goosebumps moment. This may not have the same wow factor.

But I'll reserve final judgement. Maybe these aren't the best angles, maybe it'll grow on me. I look forward to seeing more.

Cool looking truck. Looking forward to seeing the robot mode. Hope they improved the head design, it’s still my biggest complaint about the current movie Prime’s look.

 

Camaro bee does have that 1984 authenicity.

Well, it's a truck, grills pretty big, wonder how that'll play into the bot mode. Preferred the truck from the end of Bumblebee.

 

Honestly this is really cool. It seems like a good update but still g1-ish. My one issue is I wish it was a darker red and brighter blue, but I can easily over look that, it will NOT ruin the movie for me. Now let\'s see some beasts.

and when it comes to color tint and tenpeeature, especially in pictures taken from a cell phone on a cloudy day, the colors may be pretty substantially different when actually captured for the movie.

Prime looks good. I would have been happy keeping the Bumblebee Movie look, but this update looks good and G1ish!
