What do they have in common? In France, both characters got voiced by the same voice actor, Francis Lax. His version of Optimus was particularly terrible, pretty much sounding like a constipated pirate.

I predict one of two things for this thread.

1.) It'll turn into 8 pages of "And [insert voice actor here] also voiced [insert character here]!"
or
2.) It'll be locked because it really serves no purpose other than to point out a single (so far) similarity between the two characters. Which you've done. Task completed.

Here. But we was even worse in other episodes. If the producers were looking for a commanding and inspiring voice, they failed miserably.

 

I assume since it's the French version nobody ever won because BOTH the Autobots and the Decepticons retreated during every episode.

Quebec's French dub was already better (the guy - Hubert Gagnon - also voices Homer Simpson...).
