Yeah, their body count is really piling up of "B-List" people. Of course, they've always straight up ignored some A-List 'bots like Grimlock, but that may be more policy because of how much Furman used him.

What's funny is because before Roberts brought Tailgate into MtMtE, Tailgate was a complete nobody. His great claim to fame is being stomped on by Trypicon in the G1 cartoon. Or maybe that was Swerve...

Windblade living or dying depends on what makes a good narrative.

Honestly I thought she was metaphorically referring to Sideswipe.

Damn good issue, damn good art. Relationship focused in the right way, with a super sad but perfect resolution. I'm surprised to say that Optimus has become my favorite of the ongoings now that Till All are One is dead, this issue in particular reminds me of some of the best of the Spotlights. Again, I gotta say, the art is phenomenal and so is the coloring. Zama is right up there with Milne and Roche as IDW's best pure talent, I'd love it if those three just took turns drawing all of the ongoings.

Damn. I mean, Jesus. That reveal toward the end hit me in the gut. I mean I knew something was up but I just brushed it aside to me not paying much attention to last issue. Well, let his Spark join the Matrix amongst the greatest of Cybertron.

After two great issues in a row I am back on board this series. :D

This is good, it's playing on how there's been a number of death fake-outs by doing the opposite. "You thought the photonic core being destroyed mean he'd die? Well no, you were wro-, no, you were right after all."

Beautiful, lovely issue. A bit sad, but in the end, not really. Not much time to say a lot, but I really love the tone! P. S. Recursion!

Wow. I was really hoping that Sideswipe was back with a vengeance. And then we see the last pages.

That was great writing. Made me care about Swipe.

Time to play this as I reread the last few pages again.

Sideswipe realizing what was happening and saying it's okay is NOT OKAY BARBER.

    Nope, I don't like it.

If the point of the story was to write about a pointless death, then congratulations, job done. Given the praise I've read in this thread so far, I don't think many here would agree with me but I'm finding these books to be just boring as of late. Tailgate's fate proved to be a shock twist because at least one Decepticon showed that he's still an evil bastard and took an opportunity to find revenge. But that is because IDW has watered down the whole plot for the Transformes, the war between two factions of bots. As I stated in another thread, it's all relationships and politics in these stories as of late. Is it wrong to want to see the Combaticons acting like the commandos they're suppose to be instead of Cybertron 90210?

Call me cynical, but I just can't get in to these books right now and I've felt this way for a while now.

Bumblebee is coming back apparently. But let's see..

Trailbreaker and Sideswipe are dead. Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl, Jazz, Mirage, Hound, Blustreak, Huffer, Gears, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Brawn, Windcharger.. All alive as far as I know.
