Ah Soundwave, one of the best parts of the recent comics.

So this takes place after Till All Are One #8 and during Transformers Annual 2017, when Optimus Prime returns to Cybertron?

Awesome to see a Soundwave-focused issue.

This series is off to such a great start, I'm considering buying the TPBs as well as the digital copies. It just looks amazing (I mean, at first I just *liked* it, but Zama's art has grown on me more and more) and Barber so far is writing at his very best. Wreck-Gar is great, Rum-Maj is great, Soundwave is great, Jetfire (past and present) is great, Prowl is great, Prime is as bearable as he ever will be, Arcee has a stake in the plot ...

Despite my nitpicks about Lost Light, I pronounce this, for me, personally, the best the comics have ever been across the board. Three titles I look forward to every month. Blimey.

"Do you hear that? No, I'm sorry, of course you don't..."

4 million+ years, and Soundwave still hasn't gotten used to being the guy with super-hearing? Or is he just rubbing it in?

Overall I like the art, but a minor thing I find annoying is the scale regarding Autobot City hovering in the sky. Even if Metrotitan is capable of some mass-shifting, he would have to be several miles up - much higher than just 10,000 feet - to look so small from ground level.
