Can Primal be brought into the current books? We have the other BW characters from the planet of Eukaris (except Rattrap). With him being in the "chaos" category in the Power of the Primes vote, I was wondering if it could be considered to bring him in as some anti-hero? Maybe Rattrap is working for him instead of a Prime. Maybe an ancient Prime was reformatted into Primal? So he would still be a "prime" if he won the vote. I think they would changed his name it might be confusing with the Optimus in front. But, is it possible to see him in current IDW books?
That would be neat if Primal appeared. I have a theory that Primal and BW Megatron were the previous leaders of the Fur Walkers and Scale Walkers. As for being a former Prime or turns into a Prime, it depends on how its done.
Optimus Primal is the leader of Onyx Prime's army. He will lead the beast invasion of Cybertron. However, he begins to question the cost of the advance, and seeing the damage caused to Cybetron -- their ancestral home -- he turns against his Prime, killing him.
That a cool idea, but ever more awesome if Optimus Prime convents Optimus Primal, that Onyx Prime is not the right choose for his Prime.
From the Power of the Prime's poll it seems like he's gonna be the "king" of Eukaris. Admittedly, Primal being a King Louie kind of character sounds kind of awesome, though I'm still unsure if you can still have Primal BE Primal when placed into that kind of position of power. Maybe if he has an air of authority around him (kind of like the role he plays when cussing out Silverbolt in his office in BW), while having some semi-constant doubts in his role and a down-to-earth personality, he could be done reasonably well.
To be clear, I'm talking about what I hope his comics-character will be inspired by, who the hell knows what Onyx Prime's toy will be, or even if it will be a he?
So he's basically like the ruler of Eukaris? I think Primal would always have that leader/authoritative personality to him. I hope anyway.
There is an easy solution. Make primal one of the 13 (IDW version of the 13). He was just benevolent and ultimately lost in battle against Galvatron.
I don't think that would work well when we already have Onyx as the beast Prime and the 13's been established as being pretty much the Aligned 13, nor would many be happy about Primal already being dead.
That's why I suggested reformatting if IDW wanted to go that route, but that is a very slim possibility. They would probably never do it.
