I bought three of my MP 32s more than three years ago for about $80 each. It was a dream come true and I thanked God that I was alive to see this in MP form. Since then I have been waiting for interesting decos. So I will gladly wait and buy the inevitable redecos (official or KO) such as Universe Primal, Red/Burning convoy (with better golden application and BLUE eyes), Clear Convoy, Jungle Camo, King Kong, Donkey Kong, and my most favorite Apache/B'Boom Blue with silver highlights version etc.)
Bring on the apes...

 

Why would they do Apache from Primal?
I mean, I doubt we're going to get an actual MP Apache (that would so rock), but I don't see them using that deco on this mold.
The others are possible.

What is that anyway? A KO? Or a custom?

 

It's one of the three Lucky Draw versions of that mould:
- the mandatory gold
- a red one (replaces the black parts with red)
- this blue one (replaced the black parts with blue)

This blue version is likely the most common, since it has popped up on e-bay a few times. I've also seen the Gold one being listed (although quite rare), and the red one is so rare that for a long time there were no pictures of it and currently the only picture I know of is from the original magazine: no pictures from the actual product after release.


But to come back to @Zi Shan, there are quite a few options if they want to milk it:
- regular (MP-32)
- BW2 (MP-38; very similar to the original toy)
- burning (clear red)
- skeleton/crystal (clear)
- universe (dark brown)
- lucky draws: gold, red, blue
- Nemesis (like the Robotmaster version: grey with black robot parts)

But I'll doubt they'll do much if any. MP KO's are mostly limited to what TT has done in the MP line.

 

This is AWESOME news if true! I was thinking about giving up on collecting BW as the only figure I've had for years is Cheetor.

 

About effing time. I missed out on the original release and waited forever for a reissue but it never came (mp32 not mp38) so if this KO is the only way for me to get my hands on this guy then so be it.

 

I've already pre-ordered on showz I love this mold. Have a couple of the originals.

 

Finally. I first heard about the announcement of this KO 4-5 years ago.
I'm not a big Beast Wars fan at all so the official TT versions, especially at their pricing was not even a consideration for me.
However I'll wait till this actually drops and in-hand reviews come out. The reason being is because the first batches of KO MP BW figures released so far has qc problems. So far the only the 2nd batch of KO BW Megs seemed to have been better quality. Also, KO MP-44 first batch had issues.

Be nice if they’d add in the gear-like elbows he’s missing from the show and paint the forearm blasters but a straight KO is long overdue for Primal.

This is probably a more agreeable release timeframe for those that fundamentally disagree with the morality and impact on official sales associated with KOs. The MP has long since sold out and goes for bucketloads on the secondary market so those who were converted later on into the BW line have a chance to add big bot to their collections at a reasonable price.
If I don’t get made redundant next month I’ll consider picking one up for a Gorilla Warfare finale custom.

 

Im not a beast wars fan but something about the optimus primal and Megatron version interests me.

 

Those tweaks would be greatly appreciated to see but won't hamper a purchase if they aren't present. It'll be a relief for those just getting into the game to have access to this figure in some form. I recently picked up the official boss monkey and got it for a fair market deal however since that sweet KO Megs was released I'm increasingly tempted to pickup both KOs for the desk display.

 

I'd lose my shit I hope we do get a donkey kong. This is one of my favorite molds.
