    This thing better go down in history. I trust most of you will understand the reference.

    This was a commission between me and an Australian friend who lives in England. I did the resizing, and edited Liam Neeson's head onto it using MS Paint. My Aussie friend added the lightsaber, probably using better software.

    Aside from the obvious reference, this was created as an in-joke and avatar at another forum I used to frequent. That forum was created by an exodus of IMDB users who got fed up with the Dark Knight message board, and needed a better place to talk about whatever they wanted (myself among them).

    As perfect as Peter Cullen is for the part, Liam Neeson could have also been a bad ass choice.

    No, Optimus's mannerisms and body language are modeled after Liam Neeson.

    Bumblebee's are modeled after Marty McFly.

    First off: Optimus Prime > Everything Liam Neeson ever did. (Liam Neeson is still cool)

    Secondly, Optimus Prime's mannerisms were modeled off of Peter Cullen's brother. Because, Peter Cullen was who brought Optimus to life.

    I'm talking about live-action Optimus, not G1 Optimus, hence the image is that of live-action Optimus, and not G1 Optimus. This is all stated clear as day in the Transformers live-action movie DVD special features.
