Optimus fans: When have you bought a Megatron without Optimus?

    Yep, got the universe G2 Megatron without Prime in a garage sale. Also got Armada Megatron (Bricktron) at another sale, while not buying Armada Prime too.

    The only time.. TFA Shadow Blade Megatron..loved the purple so I had to have it..uh him :D

    The closest example I can think of is that I bought the Voyager Megatron from ROTF, but I don't have a Voyager Prime.
    I do have the Leader Prime, though.

    I currently have RID Megatron but no Prime. Although I bought him as a Halloween decoration. Also, I do have the Dragon TM II BW Megs, but no... wait, yeah, I do have... ok, I'll need a ruling on this one: I actually have all 3 BW versions of Megs: original version TRex, TM TRex and the dragon. The only Primal I have is the TM with the skysled. So the other two would count as Megatrons with no Optimi right? I also have BM Megs and I really think he's it from that line.

    I had a Megatron to go with every Prime I ever bought... It's like you can't buy just a Batman without getting the Joker for him to wail on...

    The only line, that I collect, that I don't have the pair for is Alternity. Megs is the only figure I have from that line.

    I'm not sure my Prime to Megatron ration is 1:1, but I have at least one of each from every series except G1.

    Oh, and I didn't get a Megatron from ROTF. Hopefully his toy for TF3 will be closer to his onscreen appearance.

    For TFTM, I only have the best buy exclusive Megatron with no prime. I thought Megatron was so sinister and tough in the first movie. I absolutely loved his voice. I didn't pick up prime because I felt that he was pretty wimpy and could barely hold his own against megatron (even though he tore up bonecrusher!)

    for some reason Megatron almost always get shafted. RARELY is a megatron toy better than an optimus... I mean... the only instance that I can maybe think of, is animated Megatron earth mode. that Meg is a BEAST.

    I impulse bought Encore Megatron @ Toy Tokyo on 2nd ave after selling some art about half a block from there.

    Hey! what about the TRU Energon 2 pack? I like Deluxe Fatimus Prime and all but the scaled down Megs from that set is easily one of my all time favorite Transformers.
