I always thought the firetruck they used for Sentinel Prime would make for a really cool Fire Convoy-esque Optimus, something like Fire Convoy mixed with Animated OP. Or Inferno. or Artfire...
I love Fire Truck as the Convoy. Thing is I don’t know if it should be Optimus. I love Fire Convoy and I love Galaxy Convoy but I also wonder if it’s not because I view them as their own characters and not Optimus. I will always say that I love Optimus as anything from a big Truck to a Semi. I just wish we got fresher takes like Armada more often.
Realistically I doubt it, but I would be all over seeing Optimus trade in the big rig for a fire engine. Hell, just give him that unused ATV alt from "Rise Of The Beasts" and say it was a surplus vehicle repurposed as a civilian fire truck, and hook it up accordingly. I mean, it'd be nice to KEEP getting fresher alt modes every couple of flicks.
He could definitely pull a firetruck, the Unicron Trilogy proves this and plus a firetruck is more heroic and would fit Optimus' character better then a normal truck.
I Would love to see another firetruck optimus, though I believe animated and cybertron are firetrucks, and they were awesome, so id LOVE to see a firetruck prime in the movies.
I wanna see a fire truck alt mode for Optimus again. RiD2001 and Transformers Cybertron pulled it off successfully, and it fits his character too.
Yes and I do want to see firetruck prime again in series because I'm tried of the same flatnose or semi trucks
I think the imagery and idea of a firetruck being Optimus Prime's alt mode is perfect since it symbolizes saving people and minimizing destruction. It works for me in animated form like in RiD and Animated! I've always liked the idea of Autobots being utility vehicles and Decepticons being military vehicles. A thing of beauty!
