Thanks for the review. Such a sad toy. I really like Sideswipe, but the toy here looks terrible.

As far as the arms go, I think it's just a QC issue. I've transformed mine between both modes quite a few times and not once have the arms popped off the ball joint. They are easier to pull off the tab than Jazz's were, but I haven't had to be super careful. Although, where they fold around and tab in by the wheel, it definitely doesn't snap like Jazz does, but it still holds just as well.

What's the purpose of locking the arms up? My arms are fine without trying to do whatever you're trying to do. I see where the back doesn't line up, but the back pegs in strongly by the shoulders, so it doesn't seem that necessary. Not owning the Jazz toy, all I can say is that my Sideswipe isn't floppy. He might not be as secure as the other toy, but he really doesn't have any problems with posing or things popping off.

Dude...great review! Yeah the toy sucked...as I expected...but you did such a great job it was as if you were giving an R&D report to Hasbro on how to make the toy better. Personally I can not get over that floating head thing.

    Up next...Air Raid!

Also the lifeless eye with no color doesn't help one bit.

The purpose of locking the arms up like that is apart of the transformation process
