Finally got around to downloading and watching the episode. Speaking of which, I REALLY like this episode. It's great to finally get some good characterization for Bumblebee. Even without the ability to speak he showed some great emotion in this one. Was also nice to see them work in a bit of Ratchet's past too. Not sure if anybody else got this, but in the one scene with Bulkhead and Bumblebee, they acted a lot like two brothers, imho (not saying they are, just that they seem to have developed that kind of relationship).

I can't wait to see what happens after this. The three-part season intro was nice, but this is most definitely better.

Man, I just keep wanting to watch this episode again and again. This has to be one of my favorite since Rock Bottom. I still wish that Prime had stayed an amnesiac for a while longer, but if they keep up good episodes like this I might not mind that.

Still more emotion than Megan Fox.

I admit I am not a fan of the recent BB mania the recent TF writers and Hasbro have created and I rolled my eyes at a BB tale since TFA seemed to have BB oriented plots every other episode. The storyline changed my mind a bit and I really enjoyed the episode. Prime Megs is even worse than I thought.

I finally got around to watching the episode and it made me feel really bad for Bumblebee. He's come so far since his first appearance back in "Darkness Rising, Part 1" and I admit that the reveal of losing his voice box didn't really surprise me, but Ratchet being the one to do what he could for Bumblebee just touched me and reminded me of Movieverse Ratchet doing the same thing with Movieverse Bumblebee.

Obviously, I think this series has come a very long way since the very beginning, and Bumblebee getting the spotlight and character development is just proof of that. It makes me love Bumblebee now.

I like that Bee hasn't been in the spotlight generally in the first season, we've gotten enough of that in the comics and movieverse. For them to just now get to him and develop him a bit is awesome.

Loved Ratchet in this episode, and I wonder how the writers will develop his self doubt. Love that he didn't name himself in his flashback to Raf.

This. Plus, I was thinking that the Autobots were saying it in a more "There's no reason for Megatron to steal it"-way, rather than "He wouldn't do it because that's mean". I mean, as they said, this is a biomechanical part. Why would the 'Cons want it? They have their own. No point in having two. That's where the mystery came in. They had to figure out who would want to steal this and why. Hence their realization that it was MECH.

    Exactly!

I'm with you on the whole reset thing, but at least they're not completely tossing it away. They're still referencing it, Megatron is still taunting Optimus about "aiding" the 'Cons, etc.. Honestly, if that's the minimum that we get, it's better than nothing.

Heh, I was gonna type in Kristen Stewart's name at first, but I thought not enough people would get the reference.
    +1 to you.

And to be honest, Silas is supposed to be cold and emotionless, he's the living embodient of that "seen-it-all" Army General who is never surprised by anything he sees due his extensive experience, always keeps his cool and never lets anything gets on the way of his thinking mind and plots.

Similar characters to him are Nick Fury from Marvel [in fact, Silas is pretty much an Evil Nick Fury, give him an eyepatch and we're done] and Lex Luthor [they even share a voice actor].

Thus why he has little emotional range: He is a stone-cold Chessmaster, those people usually don't show much emotion.

I fucking loved this episode. The exchange between Silas and Starscream? Sent chills down my fucking spine.

'I am no stranger to ambition'

Raging boner material when he turned around and said that to Silas.

Also, the Mexican standoff, when Screamer first walks in:

'You didn't learn much, did you?'
'Enough to know where the soft spots are'

    FUCK YES *masturbates furiously*

I'm pumped, you're pumped, we're all fucking pumped!

Silas is simply unreadable. Don't play poker with him.

Really enjoyed this episode. Watching this after watching almost 15 straight episodes on the BluRay. Watching them like this definitely has a different effect. Brings the characters to life even more.

The only down side to a Bumblebee episode is all the "beep boop beeps".

What do you people have against "mute" Bumblebee?
Does it bring you back to Bay-formers?
