I think I paid 45 USD for mine new from ebay. I know bbts used to have it for the same price. Big Spring is honestly one of my favorite "MPs" very posable, affordable, and fun to transform. I really hope they do more figures someday...

 

Shoot him a PM, he's on boards as dalianjj. If there are any parts left it shouldn't be a problem. Cost should be minimal, I got the head, gun, and swords from Apache and a few other things and it was under 20 USD shipped.

Just curious: are you being upfront that you want it for a different figure or are you trying to play it like you need a replacement head for FT's Springer? I just ask because, if he'll sell you a head while knowing it's not for their figure, then I might try it too (I just pre-ordered Big Spring from BBTS).

 

I literally pm'd him asking about buying a head for fanstoys Apache just last week and his response was that they don't have any more parts for him.

I just got one as well - hell for $25 how can I not?!

He's my only missing figure from the movie, as I've been holding out for X-transbots Virtus for the longest time.

 

He was a great figure at 40-50$. 25 is an absolute steal.

 

$25 US is cheap

 

Regarding the face, just pop it off and sand down the back some. It will sit further in and improve the look a lot.

 

I did sand the back some, and it does improve it no doubt, but I don't know that I'd say by a lot. He still has a rather round face with scant details. My opinion of course!

I was really hoping someone would come through with a Shapeways option by now.

I thought about trying to do a mold of the existing face and sculpt a "better" one off of that mold but it never got further than thinking about stage. Maybe one day.

I've pretty much gotten out of collecting anything new in MP scale and mostly go in the Legends direction now but I still really like this figure and he stands with the MP scale figures I do have. Even with the face being imperfect I like the figure and I paid probably about $50 and have no heartache at that price. At half that, I'm almost tempted to get a second. LOL Almost.

 

I'm tempted to grab one and see if my extra head from Saltus may fit somehow. I had this guy in the past and it is a really fun bot to mess with. But...do I need two Springers?
