OpenPlay notSpringer (MP scaled)

    It’s been awhile so I don’t completely remember all the details but basically I just cut the back post on the inferno face off with an exacto blade and then shaved the top of the face to fit the helmet. I ended up using glue dots to secure it so it wasn’t permanent.

    After I received my OpenPlay Spring, need to find him a new face, since I don't have MP31 Inferno, so I used the standard face from TCW-08 Abominus.
    Because TCW-08 Abominus comes with 2 faces, I can still use the shouting face for my Abominus.

    The change is easy, just some sanding and replain, then glue.

    What are the chances that the Hasbro siege Springer head will fit on this bad mamajama...? Slim to none?

    Maybe. There might be a way to model a new ball joint if it doesn't.

    Got to say, that Springer isn't bad at all for a Hasbro figure.

    Glad someone else has thought about the Siege head.

    Is it over the top to buy an entire Hasbro figure to only keep the head?

    I just went to find the Seige Springer. I haven't really been following those lines until I saw the Seige Jetfire the other day. The Seige Springer does have a better face/head. I gathered the figures are not MP scale, though, so it seems to me like it would be small but I'd love to be wrong. I don't know if I'm up for paying for a whole new figure just for a head, though... hmm.... I guess it depends on what the figure costs!

    Still love my Open Play Springer. The face is my only gripe against it. Mainly because it's the only thing about it I'd change. The rest suits me fine. I'm happy with the transformation. I like each mode, etc. I just wish they had put more effort into the face design.

    What wave is Seige Springer in? I figured we wouldn’t see it for a couple months or more, at least.

    Love my Open & Play Springer.

    As people have mentioned earlier, they need to try a few more figs.

    Seige Ultra Magnus is like 8 inches from what I read. No way Seige Springer is tall enough. Just buy a KO Grapple for his face (seems a little wider than Inferno).
