    I love this guy!! But the face-off and sharp tailfins took me by suprise (almost pricked my fingers there). He made my LEGO Springer looks malnourished ... (which is good coz I finally found an excuse to dismantle the latters for other LEGO projects).

    For the price I'm paying (which is about USD45 converted) .... He's money well spent!

    The face should match the hand and upper leg color. Don't let anyone tell you different! :p

    Woah ... not so sure about the Pennywise lines but overall heaps better than the default and moves the whole toy into the "acceptable" category for me. Just goes to show how much of a dealbreaker the original face was.

    Awesome job. He looks alot better. As others have said, the original face wasn't great. I'm still holdong out hope for an face upgrade kit along with a better locking chest tab.

    If it hasn't happened yet then, it's not, sadly.

    Man....getting free sculpting software to work with free cad software is a pain but I’ve got a Big Spring face I can live with. Just gotta adjust the peg holes to fit.

    I had a lot of mold release on the chest, and the seem was very uneven. I sanded it down, first with 600 grit, then 2000. It looks a lot better.

    Next up. An acetone/alcohol mix to remove the gray paint from the face. I'll either ruin the face completely, or salvage it by hopefully getting better detail and a face color that matches the hands and upper legs.

    I'll post pics when I am done.

    The paint just wouldn't come off, until I upped the acetone to melting levels. So I decided to sand it down and reshape the nose and mouth.

    Reshaped the nose, cheeks and mouth. Still need to smooth it a bit more and repaint.
