opening night box office estimate inside

    another site, boxofficemojo has an estimate of 8M, so inbetween we have about 8.5M, i think tommorrow we should hit 20-25M, for a total running two day at 35ish

    I think it's safe to assume most people thought it was opening today. The theater I saw it in wasn't even close to being sold out, although the line for the 11:15 showing was pretty long by the time we got out. And besides, how much money can you really make when the movie doesn't start running until 8pm?

    That box thingy is all very confusing, but for an apparently poorly promoted opening day, 8 million sounds kind of, um... impressive.
