Obviously he's a good seller; he refunded your money even though he had already shipped the item. LOL

One person's "rude and noncommunicative" could be the next person's "communicating with you in a language they don't actually speak during their country's biggest national holiday when they very well may have been on vacation."

You ordered your item right around the Chinese New Year crunch. We all told you that. Any ill will he bears towards Americans has almost certainly been exacerbated by his experience with you.

 

This was months ago, mid October. Well before CNY and Christmas rush. I understand language barrier issues and I did my best when communicating with him. At first it was friendly, then it got unprofessional. He didn't have much of a choice on the refund because PayPal was going to do it anyway. It was sort of his bribe to keep me from leaving negative feedback. He lied to me several times about when he shipped, regardless of what the tracking said. When I called him out on it that's when he started to get rude and blame everyone else but himself for taking nearly 2 weeks to ship. He later finally admitted to being on a trip to Japan. If he would have been honest with me I would have been more understanding. I don't appreciate him calling the US post office people incompetent and several other statement about people in the US. He made up some kind of conspiracy nonsense and said the US was holding the package hostage. It didn't even make it to the us untill nearly 2 weeks later. I understand he has a following here, but it's not nice to completely discredit my experience over your own opinions. I simply stated my experience when someone here asked about him. I don't deserve to be attacked here for telling my experience or treated like a spoiled idiot. Its ridiculous how people take up arms and act like I attacked them because I had a bad experience with someone they did not. I waited a full month after purchase to contact him. I'm sorry, but all that was shady business ethics to me.

 

I think the poster said the entire process lasted 2 month + a week and a half. Doesn't sound like he ordered any time near CNY.

Ive got this guy coming any day now and was going to add a reprolabels but it looks like there is a bit of an angle on his chest that may cause the sticker to not set properly. What does everyone else use? I was considering either a waterslide decal or a dry transfer. Do they make these with either a silver or grey backed version?

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I think he's pretty fantastic. He feels like what leader class toys could have been had Hasbro not started to cut costs on the figures. And for a 3rd party figure the price point value for me is unmatched. I am very on board for whatever Open And Play does from here on out.

 

Hey Open and Play, how about you polish leader Rodimus next like you did with Galvy? It wouldn't take much to turn that figure around.

 

The white face really changes my opinion of this figure. I was thinking of getting rid of him and getting Tyrant.

I actually ordered both Big Cannon and Tyrant at the same time because I wasn't sure which one I'd like. BC arrived today, and he's so good that I'll be happy with him next to both my MP-09 and PotP Rodimus. Now I'm planning to sell Tyrant off when it gets in.
That white paint job on the face is excellent... I'll be knocking that out on mine tonight!

 

This works for me. Can't wait to get BC painted up over the weekend.

 

Is there a specific white paint you folks are using?

 

I use Folkart acrylic from Wal-Mart. The gloss holds really well. I mix it with Future, and spray it down with Testors spray enamel after dry.

 

I think the problem it's that due competition, the people expect this to have even "higher" (wich it's relative) quality than the product from the another company, the reality it's that it has been made for different objectives or categories.


This it's just an excellent CHUG Galvatron, and it is fun to ise and TRANSFORM.

The cannon mode it's medioocre but not that bad. And for the price (wich it's very affordable), it's decent overall.
