Club joes normally run $25-$30 per figure.

You have to have been a member at some point since 2012, at any rate.

One thing I look forward to after the club ceases to exist is the end of comments like this one that intentionally ignore the fact that limited-run figures inevitably cost more than retail figures.

Given that their license for Transformers ends on December 31st, most likely they wanted to but will be unable to do so.

these collector's clubs are so frustrating. i tried signing up on the site but can't find a way in. i can't even find details on what membership entails (dues, benefits, etc). any tips, guys? I'm willing to pay the listed price on rodimus and arcee but want to see how much I'd be gouged with the membership fees...

Very cool, but a bit expensive for brand new GI Joe figures. On the plus side at least we get a new tank Megatron figure in proper generation 2 colors.

Yes. Fun Publications (the company that runs the club) is losing the Transformers license from Hasbro (they still have the GI Joe Club.) They have not taken new members since around March or April, I think.

There are a couple possible ways to work around it.
    1. Find a current or former club member (anyone from 2012-current) to buy you the figures.
    2. Join the GI Joe club, and buy the figures from that club store since they are exclusives shared between the two clubs and they are still taking memberships.
    3. Wait to see if they end up liquidating the stock to 3rd party stores late this year/early next year.

Yeah...I think I'll wait for eBay. Ratbat is the selling point of this set, and I might as well buy Soundblaster for one instead.
