Which means this stunt did exactly what it was meant to do.

    Hell of a Dynamite.

The Battle Royal was well done. So many stories moved forward or referenced. Gave some shine to Miro with all the eliminations. That crowd reaction for Silver's elimination was bigger than I expected. I'm annoyed by the use of the cliche guy-on-the-outside bit but it's mitigated some by the fact that they went with Wardlow knowing what was up and going to deal with it.
The match for the Ring should be fun, and I can see it going either way.

Jericho vs Kaz was a good match, got a touch overshadowed by the Inner Circle tension thing. Way too soon to tease a break-up so I'm curious to see how they handle this next week.

Darby/Cody vs Team Taz was a solid outing, as expected. Sting was a hell of an unexpected surprise.

Britt vs Layla wasn't bad. That spot with Rebel getting knocked into the guardrail looked ugly, guess she's ok given her post match involvement. Good to see the feud with Thunder Rosa continuing. Should be good.

I'm shocked that Shida actually appeared on the show. And they did a Sid reference with that segment, cause why not.

That Moxley vs Omega match... damn. That was a thing. With all the talk of having an overrun if necessary, I was expecting a kickout of that One Winged Angel. But no, it ended the match (and they managed to finish the show right on time. Funny how that works).
I have mixed feelings though. I'm very cool with Kenny winning by cheating, being a heel, the implication that Callis getting him the mic being a planned thing, etc. I'm just very underwhelmed on Impact being a part of this. For me (and probably a lot of people), they still have the stigma of being TNA.

Impact has a partnership with NJPW and has a few guys AEW would like to use / tried to get (Gallow/Anderson, EC3). It makes sense, overall.

    near perfect show.

who would have thought that partnerships and good storytelling sprinkled with some veterans could carry the industry instead of greed and corporate fuckery.

Ill watch aew and now impact and not have to worry about those con artist carnies anymore.

man waching the sting intro again and looking at some youtube comments, darby had to wipe away a tear when sting was in his face.

people can say all they want about wrestling being scripted but then a moment like that happens and you know its absolutely genuine from a kid who is now the main event looking up to his childhood hero. unbelieveable stuff.

The Sting debut was fun, i love that AEW co-promotes with NWA and IMPACT.

So good to see sting and he can hopefully get the send off he deserves.

Loving the cross promotion - AEW, NWA, and Impact. Unlike the 80s when the remaining territories couldn’t get it together to take on Vince, this is a real modern day coup, and if they can co-exist they will undoubtedly put a dent in WWE’s monopoly.

This may be the new Monday night wars sooner than later. And may be a different result further down the line.

IMHO the Wrestling world would be such a better place if Vince/WWE knew how to play along with others like this Impact/AEW crossover that is playing out. I genuinely haven't been hyped nor deeply interested in Pro Wrestling since probaly the Punk days when he won the belt from Cena and disappeared for like 3 weeks or so.

Also just saying but wouldn't it be some shit if Sting sides with Impact as he did wrestle for them. Speaking of Sting glad to see him back but you know how crazy this POP (as if this POP wasn't big enough) if he never went to WWE and all this time out of lime light and out of nowhere showed up Lastnight @ AEW?

Personally really hated his WWE run, only Positive was I able to see him live @ Mania 31 but and this is a BIG BUT: His lost to HHH.

Sting's WWE run was a joke. All we wanted was Taker vs. Sting and they couldn't even deliver that.

Gotta feed him to the man-uhhh. Because, the fact of the matter is, in this business and at the end of the day, when all is said and done, Sting has to look into his eyes, in that-- very-- ring, and know without a shadow of a doubt that he is The Game, and he is that-- damn-- good.

Loved seeing Sting’s debut. Especially with Schiovane and JR calling it. Tony Schiovane sounded like he was tearing up a little.

Watched the big Noah show today since it was free and i've heard it's been really good lately, gawd damn this promotion is still stiff as fuck and the main event was great. Definitely going to try and fit more of this in, especially since all the Bullet Club fuckery around NJPW's upper card at the moment isn't really doing it for me. Was also surprised to see how much Mutoh can still go considering his age and career.

Need to do some reading though as I was only familiar with half a dozen people on the show and a couple of those were commentators.

F'N January needs to hurry up so I can watch the Rumble and Cancel the Network lol. I've only had the Network since November and I'm already tired of it.
