Barry Horowitz definitely deserves the nod.

 

It's looking increasingly like AJPW is the judas that is selling out to WWE in Japan, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Giant Baba in the next couple of years even though he'd be spinning in his grave at his promotion being under the thumb of somebody as bad as Vince.

 

There's still a lot of old WWF and even WWWF men and women who should be in but aren't due to the concussion lawsuit that they have filed. It's sad that they aren't getting their just due.

 

I just want to share my story on NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2015. It was held around my area, I bought a ticket a month in advance, I wanted a good seat to watch it. So I spent around $150; I was unemployed, but this is a once in a lifetime thing for me. So I cried a bit when I spent that money. As announcements were made on the card, William Regal screamed out Jushin Thunder Liger and I nearly cried tears of joy to find out I was going to see him perform live.

That same joy is coming back to me as I type this comment. Ever since that announcement I never regretted the money I spent on that show, NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2015 was my Wrestlemania.

The icing on the cake is the show caught my reaction when JTL beat Tyler Breeze.

 

Watched the Osprey/Priestly match on the WrestleTalk stream and they need to do that again in front of a crowd at some point, the heat would have been great.

Still can't decide whether Priestley's New Gen era gear is awesome or terrible though.

WWE Raw shows how flawed their presentation is and how it's designed for a live audience. A large majority of the segments didn't really need a ring since they are monologs they could do backstage or maybe they could phone them in. Plus the wrestlers coming in with an "entrance" to then show a video clip feels like filler just for a monolog. Smackdown kind of got away with it since they had more matches.
