your my new best friend... i hate them to
Again?? Jeezus. What, do they go there every other year now?
As cool as it would be to go to a WM again, even if it was in my backyard I don't know if I'd pay that kind of money when there's always a risk it could be a crapshow like the WM I went to (27). Fortunately I didn't pay that time, it was a birthday gift
I read that event sold out in 30 minutes.
Jim Ross To Reportedly Sign Multi-Year Deal With AEW
If this is true, my interest in AEW is getting bigger.
JR said in his most recent podcast that he definIntely is not continuing with the WWE and that he feels like he still has something to offer at the announce table. He's also featured both Cody and Brandi Rhodes on his podcast, so the interest in AEW is obviously there.
It's a pretty cool time to be a wrestling fan right now!
Not for me. I don’t like AEW at all.
are you in fact john cena?
I can neither confirm nor deny that...
It did. I was being sarcastic because of prfcell's irrational hatred of AEW.
Though, a good chunk of the "sold out" tickets were bought by vendors looking to scalp / sell tickets in the secondary market. So, it wouldn't be too hard to get a ticket, it would just be 2-3x the price....which isn't bad considering that the AEW tickets were a fraction of what WWE ones cost...making a marked up "scalped" AEW ticket the price of a legit WWE one.
WWE tag team turns down big contract offer and they intend to leave the company | Wrestling News
PWInsider is reporting Gallows and Anderson are on their way out. Evidently they were offered "multi-million_dollar deals" and turned them down with the intent to leave the company when their deals are up. Apparently it's over the way they've been used: mainly live events with sporadic TV appearances. Seems they haven't been booked for live events lately either. And there was their Botch Club show on the Network that never got anything beyond the first episode (that was a fun concept, I was hoping for more).
Such a shame they were never used right. Guess it'll be easier for the Smackdown tag division to continue to be Usos, New Day, Bar every week.
yeah they've been criminally misused since they started with wwe, no surprises there.
Exactly. I don't blame all these mass defections. I hope there's more to come.
It's crazy that the fans who only watch WWE won't even know how intense and good on the mic Anderson is. Gallows and Anderson were never given the opportunity they deserved, and to see Shane and Miz in the spots they were in while they're not even getting house show bookings must be tough. They'll have lots of opportunities in Japan, Mexico, AEW, RoH or whatever they choose to do.
It's a cautionary tale for all NJPW stars to take when WWE comes calling, and in the last few years Okada, Naito, Ibushi, Ospreay, ZSJ and Kenny have all turned down WWE offers.
And speaking of New Japan the biggest ever NJ Cup has started, with a shock elimination already taking place. The winner gets to face Jay White at MSG for the IWGP heavyweight title.
It sure seems that way. And I'm sure the year after it will be in New Orleans, again.
OK FESS UP, WHO THE HELL USED THE DeLOREAN?!
Pre-Show for Fastlane is on.
New Day beat Rusev & Nakamura
Miz & Shane vs Uso's is first
Uso's retain the Smackdown Tag Title
Shane turns on Miz
Miz/Shane at WrestleMania Confirmed.
Knew there was going to be a heel turn and they've been teasing heel Shane a while back, but I was kinda expecting Miz to turn instead to finally give Shane that WM win.
Mandy vs Asuka is next
Asuka retains the Smackdown Woman's title against Mandy Rose
Hoping Asuka rips the Gold Digger’s arm off and beats her and Sonya to death with it.
