I agree with some of this it as you make valid points and pointed out your utter disdain for Hulk kept getting in the way,I myself am not a Hogan fan I can see firing(suspending should have sufficed for an 8 year old racial slur/rant) pulling his merchandising but to Take him out of the Hall of Fame and to try and ignore because there is no erasing what he accomplished in wrestling is just silly, the losing 5 mill I believe is a knee jerk reaction from The Suits scared of racist being used in one of their business venture/avenues........By suits I mean companys investing in wwe...... these are just my opinions I am in no way trying to justify Hogans language/behaviour other than sometimes sh*t happens and I am in no way trying to argue with anyone......I always state things as my opinion otherwise sometimes peeps with differing opinions take it as a challenge to fight for some reason.....

 

I guess to get back on track let's talk wrestling.......Like Taker vs Brock if Taker Keeps from getting injured (I hope he does not sustain any) WWE would be smart to somehow work Sting into an angle either Helping Taker win or Lose the match to set up what at one time(many years ago) Their WM dream match which should see both guys retire that night.........

 

Actually the WWE stock has dropped more than 4 percent on any given day for no reason at all in the past. That article is more media circus propaganda. I have been watching the stock closely the past few years and it has dropped way lower. As for Hogan, he is an icon but he was never my favorite or anything, but I like him for all he did for sports entertainment. My issue with all this is that we are too sensitive of a society and it was a private conversation. WWE is being very hypocritical considering racist and offensive things they have tolerated from others. While I don't agree with Hogan being fired, I can understand WWE not wanting to be associated with the scandal, but to erase the man from history is ridiculous.

You know, I saw you mention this in a few other posts and kept meaning to respond. If this was the 80s or the Attitude Era I could see WWE capitalizing on this but sadly they are too afraid to offend people who probably shouldnt even be watching wrestling in the first place. Not sure if you watch the current product but they tried being a little edgy with Lana and Rusev, mentioning Putin and Russia
but they dropped the angle because people were offended.

There's also a difference between a humor skit and someone flat out saying that he's racist in the middle of a racist rant. It wasn't just the nword and to pretend otherwise is to be deliberately blind.

 

There is also a difference saying something privately versus publicly. Although the way this world is going, maybe not.
