So I went over to TFWiki and on Episode 26, I see this in the description heading:

Jack learns more about Optimus' history on Cybertron while the Autobots continue their battle at the Earth's core.

So I'll open the floor for discussion. How good does this episode sound?

This is only a discussion thread for the description and speculation on what we could expect.

TFWiki is usually reliable, but if it isn't, please let me know and lock this thread.

Don't worry TFWiki is probably a good source and I would trust it.

This is really interesting. Hopefully it will shut up the people that whine about how personality less Optimus is.

I could not second this hard enough.
Perhaps get some David Kaye as Orion Pax...?

Kinda reminds me of the end of RID (the bit at the earth's core with Omega Prime vs. Galvatron)... I'm digging it.

This adds support to the idea that Unicron is the earth. Otherwise why would the autobots be in the earth's core. I think they're doing the same thing that the autobots did in WFC, fighting in the core of the planet. But in this case, it might be to knock out Unicron.

But how could that be true when we've already seen Unicron's body standing on the Earth?

Theres still some doubt with the idea that its Unicron himself. It might just be one of his servants or an avatar. And if Unicron is the earth, wouldn't it make sense that he can form servants from its elements/raw materials?

The Earth's core? Why? I wonder what'll stop Megatron from shattering our core while he has a shot to do so?

The area around the TF's neck has the same pattern as Unicron. We also zoomed into the volcano when we saw his face.

Also it's not just some rock monster. He's just really rusty from being dormant for so long.

Probably the fact that it'll be really freaking hard to do without a thousand or so nuclear bombs.

Has there ever been confirmation that it is indeed..Unicron??? I haven't seen that yet, just a ton of speculation I believe, and the "visions" that Megatron has had, even Knock Out said he was a little "off" :D

Have to wonder how Jack finds out this info...some bot is telling the story..Optimus or Ratchet or...historical vids?? Can only hope we see Optimus and some good ole Cybertronian days before the war.

He doesn't want to destroy the universe. He wants to enslave it. Destroying possible slaves would ruin his plans.

It would also make sense that he would have destroyed the Autobots himself, long ago when they took Jasper as their base of Operations—wouldn't he have known where they are?

Why would he allow the Autobots to get to the Earth's core to battle, assuming that's where his spark is? His auto-defense, system or whatever you want to call it, in the animated movie actively fought against the Autobots until his death. Shouldn’t the same thing have happened the second the Cybertronians set foot on Earth or entered a cave?

That's not enough proof that the walking behemoth is Unicron in all his glory. Neck patterns and designs can be repeated. And with such small amount of detail, that is not enough. And the scene that zooms in to show his face doesn't seem to show its scale. If that were the case what prevents this from being the actual scale of his head?

We have also seen that he has other possible servants:

    Look behind Optimus Prime.

Also, how else are the Autobots supposedly able to fight in the earth's core? The earth's core is supposed to be solid nickle and iron, surrounded by liquid nickle and iron. And by my guess, its supposed to be miles thick. Its supposedly surrounded by a mantle of liquid rock.

If there's anyway that the earth's core becomes a suitable battle field, its with the idea that it is not what we think it it.

Heck, just look at the thing! The texture of its skin is identical. Denial sucks big time—I’d be amazed if this thing wasn’t Unicron (mind you I DO believe it is Unicron).

The fact that if that was his head there's no way Optimus and Megs wouldn't have seen it during their battle? Seriously it would be a better idea to not make him Earth. Now we can have him transform and be an actual character without destroying the show's setting.

    Are those statues of him?
