Even if all these are aboveboard, still leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

This guy wasn't the only one. Many of the guys selling on eBay got multiples. Just look at the listings.

Hopefully, one of the regular online stores will carry any leftovers from the show.

Searching "fansproject columpio" worldwide returns 21 listings. Of these, the seller in my first post accounts for 12.

This guy has one last unit for sale but has sold 4 in the past 24 hours.

    This guy has 2 available.

Everyone else is selling just one unit.

A markup is expected but they probably wont be double or more than what was paid at the con. Last year's exclusives showed up fairly quick to the retailers.

The guy who sold 4 had more than that. More than double that. I had a chat with him. I tried to get one for under $200 yesterday from him.

So how did he get hold of so many units? Did he buy these off convention attendees?

True but I don't have to agree with it. I hoping based that since these didn't have a purchase limit, there must be plenty to go around.

Yeah it sux. I messaged the board member last night selling one of these and when he told me the price I just laughed. No way am I paying $210 for a figure that only cost $120 with a little chrome on it. I like the retail version just as much anyways. If it was me selling you would get it at what I paid for it. IMO you are supposed to pass on the savings or at least original price to other collectors not gouge them.

Factor in admission, travel costs etc and he isn't gouging, just passing on his costs along with it.

Alot of people forget those costs when looking at this stuff.

Many here will gladly pay more for those reasons but more than double the original cost is pushing it.
