Recapping the last couple pages of guesses/hints, let me know if I've got any of this wrong:

Straxus is the outlier, and it has something to do with repaints/retools based on when the guesses were getting warmer. It's not that he's the first use of the mold, and it sounded to me like the guesses were getting really warm ("dancing around a fire") when they looked closer at the yellow repaint of Straxus. Is that accurate, @AutobotAvalanche ?

 

Yes, but it has more to do with repaints/retools than the SG Straxus. He's not very relevant at all, in fact.

 

Clarification on this rule, the difference has to be something we can see in the photograph. I'll leave it to @AutobotAvalanche to pick a winner out of everyone that picked Straxus.

 

Ah, fair enough. The difference I was aiming for was that Straxus was the only one who had his mold confined to one line. Red Alert's mold came from Universe, Magnus went on to TR, and Windcharger's came from T30.

I'd say @Steelfire got closest to that.
