Just wondering, who here would pick up a three pack of Omnibots Based On The Transformers Generations 2014 Exclusive Figure Vote...Alot of you just like myself would probably prefer new molds...But what's the chances of that happening...Yeah, so who'd buy the figures if eHobby or TFCC decided to do them ?...

Mmmmaybe...I don't find those repaints totally convincing (Downshift might make the most sense), and I couldn't afford an exclusive 3-pack probably.

I did really love my omnibots as a kid though, so I'd be a sucker for a re-release.

Overdrive's car mode isn't quite sporty enough compared to the G1's car and Camshaft's doesn't work at all being an SUV.

I do want that Alpha Trion and Go Shooter though.

Voted no because I'm not going to reward Hasbro with my money for what are just lazy repaints. For Overdrive and Camshaft it looks like they just painted Generations Wheeljack and Ironhide white.

    No.

Looking over the possible repaints, all of them look like HasTak (not sure which produces the convention exclusives) just through a name on a cheaply repainted mold. Hell, the least they could have done was give "Downshift" a new head. Wheeljack's head has always been kind of iconic to me.

I'm all for the Omnibots, but not with those moulds no, except probably Downshift since the transformation is very close and he'd have the flying car mode. Ideally they'd retool some of the DOTM deluxe toys that were able to go stealth force since that was part of the whole Omnibot schtick anyway. In fact... *Updates potential customs list...*

I think whoever doesn't win this should be sold by the Club in the next subscription service.

Maybe depending on whether or not I can actually get them and afford them.

I'd buy them as repaints, but they have to be better repaints. I'm not a fan of the Prowl or Ironhide mold. I can't think of anything better, so that's why I'd rather not see these repaints for now. Wait til we either get new better molds to repaint them from, or give them new molds.

Though on further thought, I think Skids' mold could work as Camshaft, except that would be way too similar to Crosscut so it'll never happen.

For me.. Yes, they need new molds. I can't think of any existing molds that would fit "updating" the characters.

I would want them to produce them all, but I wouldn't buy any because they would be too expensive.

Yes I definitely would. I think the mold would work fine for 20th their characters. Granted, Scoop got a brand new (fantastic) mold so obscure guys are finally getting some Classics updates, so new Omnibot molds would definitely be preferable but I'd be content if this was the only option.

So if these same molds were released as Target or TRU exclusives you'd be down?

Truth, sometimes we need to be thankful that obscure characters get the love they do...

I would love a threepack of the Omnibot repaints. the characters were such non-entities that I dont really think Hasbro is going to give them their own molds anytime soon. im kinda bummed that the proposed ten figures are a poll, which means nine of them wont be happening. so making people pick only one Omnibot is kinda bum. In the end, after the pol, i hope funpub and ehobby pick up the leftovers (I'd love to see the Omnibots in one of those Hasbro asia "Seeker Aces" style boxsets)

A regular Hasbro release, sure. As a Japanese exclusive, hell no. I don't like the Omnibots that much to spend probably $40+ each for them.
