I'd put the title, but I don't recall it's entire title. It was for the Commedor 64 (and the more powerful alternate version which I had) and it was a Transformers game. Had Gen-2 character looks but was extremely hard to play as I didn't have the instructions and tutorials didn't exist yet. Heck, couldn't go online either as the internet wasn't even a wet dream. Lol. I wish I could remember it. My sister's hubby says he can get me ANY game off the net. I wanna give him this challenge.

Who in here is old enough to know what I'm talking about?

Funny thing is. Neither of the pictures of the graphics matched what I remember playing. The one that had Rodimus Prime is close, but sadly Rodimus wasn't in it. It had Optimus, but he was in his Gen-2 look not his Gen-1 look. Was there ever a KO Transformers Game for the Commodore? It's the only explanation.

I still have Battle to Save the Earth somewhere. Ridiculously difficult. Only good things were seeing each Autobot transform and the box art.

Still, they deserve points for making a Transformers game with Rodimus Prime and no Optimus.

Man, I had the Battle to save the Earth game. You're right, seeing the Autobots Transform was one of the best things. Also, the music for that game was awesome too. It had the whole theme song and for an old Commodore 64 system it sounded great, especially when compared to that F-ing suicide-inducingly difficult Japanese Famicom Transformers game. I actually beat Battle to Save the Earth several times. One time I actually stopped that dinosaur from stomping the space shuttle and got like a 25,000 point bonus. I can't believe I actually just typed that sentence. That's so absurd, a dinosaur stomping a space shuttle at a damn farm. Who the hell wrote that stuff?!? The Angry Video Game Nerd did a review of that Famicom game and did a little bit on the Commodore game also.

I didn't think it was possible to beat that game. Well done.
I like your user name. My brother's nickname was Diesel.

Thanks. Yeah, it could be beat. The best way to do it was to use Rodimus Prime for everything that you could because he could take out those Decepticon Seekers with one shot. I think you had to use another 'bot for one stage because of the logistics of not being able to get Rodimus to the location in time. I think I used Hot rod and it took him 2 shots to kill an enemy. I seem to remember that if you shot the dinosaur in front of its eyes it would back up. You had to be careful because if the dino walked into the blast it would blind him and he would keep coming forward. What a ridiculous game. I played the heck out of it though. It did have really good music, especially for a Commodore 64.

There were some fantastic soundtracks among the Commodore 64 games:

    Batman
    Star Paws
James Pond: Robocod (the Robocop theme)
    The Last Ninja games.
    Shadow of the Beast
Turrican (the title and end credits use music from Transformers The Movie)

I think you misspelled the second word.

Wasn't there a film in the 90s called "How Stella got her groove back"?

    Putting the rut in strut...

Turrican had music from TFTM? I've never heard of that. I'll have to check that out. I saw the Batman game on one of the Angry Video game Nerd episodes. The graphics on that game were pretty awesome. The Commodore did have some really amazing games for it's time. I believe it was capable of up to 8 bit graphics like the NES. I remember Lifeforce and Skate or Die had the same graphics as their NES counterparts. Did you ever play the Aliens game for the Commodore 64? That game is one of the best games ever. It was a totally original game and several different levels with different styles of game play. It was only released on the Commodore 64 and I think it's the first Aliens game ever made. This game also had some great music. The graphics were kind of primitive but they were still very impressive for the C64. The game itself was unlike anything else at that time. It was a really fun game. Let me find a video on it. Here we go:

I just checked out Turrican. It TOTALLY ripped off Transformers: The Movie. They even listed some of the composers, and none of them were Vince DiCola.

Meant to say that none of the composers listed were Vince DiCola.

I like the comic panel style of the Batman game. The Superman game looks pretty cool as well. The graphics on that game look good. Angry Video Game Nerd did a little bit on that game before his Superman 64 review.

Did you have Predator? That game had cool intro music and was also pretty good for the time. The graphics were fairly decent as well. That game even had Predator-vision in it. The only problem I had with that game was that I could never beat it. I tried and tried and tried to beat that game, but I could never get past the last stage. I must have tried 10 times or more. I only found out years later that there was a glitch in the game where a certain object was left out that was required to beat the final stage. That bug made it literally impossible to beat.
